styles of crocs

Wearing my crocs without socks even as we speak! Its about 80 degrees here and I've been outside all day in them and no problems at all! On cooler days, I can just as easily wear socks with them. Gotta love 'em!

Before buying my Crocs I tried on several sizes in both the Beach & Cayman sizes. The Beach style is wider and that was key since I wear a 7 to 7/12 wide shoe. The small in Beach is perfect. The 7 in the Cayman was too tight and the size 8 too big. So the Beach is my Croc of choice (2 colors and saving for third!).

I have really narrow feet so I think I'm going to try to get the Caymans. Anyone else with narrows?

Here's some interesting info from the Crocs site...

THE PERFECT CROCS™ FIT.

Crocs™ should not fit like other shoes:

They should fit very loosely.

The sides of your foot should not really touch the sides of the shoe.

Your toes should never make contact with the front of the shoe.

Once you have centered your foot on the foot-bed:

You should have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space in front of your toes, behind your heel and when you lift the strap you should be able to comfortably get your finger between the strap and heel.

In other words the fit should be “loose”.

I know that this goes against everything that you have ever been used to in a shoe, but these are the parameters that the shoe was designed to be worn under.

No Pressure points Ever!

To insure that the strap is not pulling your foot into the front of the shoe, rotate the strap forward and determine if your foot rests comfortably in the foot bed and there is room all around your foot. If so, you have the proper size but the strap is too short. To alleviate this issue, work your fingers around the strap and stretch it as you go around being careful not to put excessive pressure on the rivet hole. Stretch the strap until it is just short of the back edge of the shoe. The resin material has memory and will stay at the proper length after one or two of these types of adjustments.

I have very narrow feet and oddly enough, my Beach style Crocs fit me better than my Cayman's! The thing that I have noticed is that every pair of Crocs I've purchased seems to be just a bit different fit even though they are the same size! No two pairs have been exactly the same whether they were Cayman's or Beach styles! It makes it very difficult to order Crocs online! The ideal thing is to find them in person. But, almost no one in my area carries Crocs so most of mine have been ordered online (I have 9 pairs). I love them all though and after wearing them for a while they all sort of mold to your perfect fit anyway! :thumbsup2

I have Niles and Beach Crocs - I love them both - BUT - as far as ugly goes- the Niles win hands down. They look much cuter than they are but there are all so comfortable that I honetsly don't care.

The Hallmark store in our mall had them a few weeks ago. They had more styles and colors than Dillards which was sold out of almost everything. I already have 3 pairs of Beach and decided to try the Athens while I was able to find them.

None of our Hallmark stores carry them nor do they even know what I am talking about when I inquire about them!

I love my Beach style. So comfy. Just got a second pair.
I also got the Nile. I don't think I like them. They may be going back for a third pair of Beach ;)
The Nile does hug tight....my foot also fits in them strange. One goes to the side and one big toe goes too far forward onto the ridge at the top....not the most comfortable.
