Okay, someone just said to me (I was showing here my budget) that Disney Resort Quotes already include tax. Is this true? I was adding 11.5%, if I don't have to we can stay an extra day!
Thanks in advance for you reply.

if you are using the internet - yes - the tax is included in the rate - but I think it is 11% for most of WDW - the all stars and AKL are 12%.

Thanks for the reply, yep I was using the website to get an idea of what this vacation is going to cost. I already told DH we were over budget, so I think I will add a day.

WDW resort tax went to 11.5% sometime during this past year. :(

Tax is a 6.5% sales tax, plus a 5% resort tax for resorts in Orange County. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that Osceola has a 7.0% sales tax, which includes All-Stars and I think AK Lodge.

the vacation proctection in my opinion is just way to get WDW and insurance company more money -

however if you are traveling from the north in snow season - or from a foreign country it might work for you.

but most of the time it is just an extra expense. (my opinion)

Tax is included on Disney quotes. It is 11.5% for most of the resorts. It is 12% for AKL and the AK resort area (All-Stars)
