Ok, I've been riding the rides today for like 3 hours, and I finally built up like 9 magic pins. So I decided to use them all at once, thinking I'd get at least 1 Casey Jr. pin, maybe two. So, I go, and use them all and I didn't get a single thing!!!!!!!! BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

I have a feeling the winner is like one in a hundred and a little randomness on the side. anytime anyone has used a pile at once it has not seemed to increase their odds. and remember someone in another instance could pull the sword that would be yours in between your pulls. I would say unless you could save up 100 and use them at once, just use them as you get them and if you see it pulled, wait a bit.

This is a lesson well learned for a lot of players. It's EXACTLY like gambling: you put in a small amount, and expect to win something rare.

The Sparrow Game, on the other hand, has no credit cost.

As we are awaiting new Fantasyland and Pirate items, I would think long and hard whether or not you actually want a Casey Jr. Pin.

48 pins and counting.
I win the sword pins like nothing, but apparently, they don't like meh getting the Casey jr. pin :p

You've had 48 magic pins so far and not one Casey pin? That's incredible. I have up a post to trade my extra one but maybe I should hold off

Ditto on the amount of pins and credit spent, don't forget that and no Casey Jr. in site. I have not seen anybody pull the sword out all day. :confused3

I just want one. LOL

Ok 50 pins now.

This is not fun. xD
Ah well. Dr. phil is entertaining me.

Now this makes sense. Save your credits for the new pirate items unless you really want the Casey Jr. pin more than pirate stuff. Thanks pirate for bringing me back to my senses rofl.

I think my lucks picking up! 3 pins in the last 3 rides!!!

No not Casey pins. Sword pins.

I saved up 5 magics pins two days ago and used them all at once. I got the pin on the forth try and had one magic left, and since I was going to logoff anyways I used the last one just so it would'nt expire. I pulled the sword a second time! woot woot!

That's my job, isn't it?

Well, typing has become rather hard. I'm currently in a finger splint for my right pinky: I sleep walked and slammed it in a drawer, and have no recollection of the matter.

Wow!!! Double congratulations to you!

At least it didn't hurt?

and I have never even gotten the Sword Magic pin so I have just given up on the rides completely. :sad2:

I think it is more fun NOT to keep track of how much I am spending and how many times I am not strong enough to pull the sword out.

I ride for a while, then I go play ghosts to make up the credits.

It's like gambling in real life: go to the horsetrack with a spare $20 and enjoy the day until it is gone, then stop betting. You don't spend all your savings on it. When your fun money for the day is gone, you don't bet again until another day.

In VMK, you ride a bit, then make up the credits, then ride some more if you like. Don't run your credits all the way down. Don't EXPECT to win anything. You are buying the fun of the chance of winning, with a cute ride and fun music to boot.

Happy playing.

I agree I don't expect to win and I ride the rides because i love the rides! They are so cool

I will say that I have gotten and used as many 13 pins at one time and not gotten anything..nothing! But then a coouple times I have gotten one on the second pull of the sword? So it just a randoom thing?
I have not and don't like to keep track how many times I have rode and how much I have sepent on getting the pins which I have gotten both of them!.... (which is alot)

But I start with getting my music and then go ned JC and then I play for a bit and then go do the same again! Never go below what I start with!!

I rode for 4hrs one night and got 12 pins, so I decided it was time to give'em a try. I watched everyone else to see if they were having any luck and this one girl had tried like 7 times. I thought well if she tried 7 and I'm next and I have 12 surely I'll get something. But NO not one pin for 4hrs of my time and 12 magic's. I think the odds of getting one of these pins are greater than winning the lottery, or so it seems..lol..
