Stupid Question

Ok this may seem stupid, but I was wondering what items the resort will supply for you. We are doing a three night cruise, and then spending 7 nights at the Contemporary resort. With all the stuff two young kids need, packing space is limited! Do we need to bring beach towels for the pool? What about soap and lotion, etc....? We have been to WDW many times, but this is the first time we are staying at a resort. Any help would be great. Thanks!

We only bring beach towels, if going to a water park, but they are not even needed there. I think they rent them. Towels are provided for the pools at the resorts, either at the pool, or you take from your room, and they bring more. I don't know if you can take room towels to the water parks.

As for soap, and lotion, they do provide it, and they are in cute little packages and bottles, with Mickey. A word of caution though- Don't use the shampoo, if your hair is color treated. I made that mistake, and looked like a school bus, by the end of the week. We usually bring our own toiletries, but somehow I forgot the shampoo.

Also, an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and coffee maker, are all available.

Ok. There is no such thing as a stupid question, which is why these boards are here. They supply your room with bath towels, and if you need more, just call housekeeping. This is what we did and we had plenty for the pool, the water park and the bathroom. The hotel supplies you with shampoo/conditioner, bath & hand soap and lotion all packages in black, red & white Mickey bottles. Again, if you need more, just call housekeeping. I collect these each day from my room, then bring them home and donate them to my local shelter (they could use it more than me). I typically bring my own shampoo, conditioner, soap. bubble bath, etc.

If you are staying at a Disney Moderate or Deluxe resort, there will be towels provided at the pool. No towels provided at the value pools I believe, but have only stayed at ASMo once.
