What are annual dues? and how can i work out how much it will be.

Seems like we're online at the same time! Annual dues depend on the resort. BWV for 2002 are $3.92/point, BCV will be $3.77/point, OKW is close to $3.20- VWL is close to $3.80 I think? I'm sure you will get an accurate account from owners at OKW and VWL

The annual dues are the amount paid to DVC each year to cover the cost of maintenance, etc. on the DVC properties.

You pay the appropriate amount for your home resort x the number of points you hold there. So using kem's examples, if you own 200 points at VWL your dues would be 200 x $3.80 = $760 per year. The amount per point can change each year, but there is a percentage limit on the amount of possible increase which can be applied in any one year (some costs have actually gone down in recent years).
