Can anyone eat at the Shades of Green's "Garden Gallery" dinner buffet or do you have to be a service person and/or staying at SOG?

What if we have friends staying there (which we do) ... would we be able to join them?

We stayed there last summer and never ate at their TS but I'm pretty sure you have to be a guest to eat there. But if you are joining other guests I don't think that's a problem. :goodvibes

Not a stupid question. When we stayed at SOG, we were told that Mangino's and Garden Galley were only for registered guests and members of the military with id to enter the property. Evergreen's allows non guests and non-military folks, because it's adjacent to the golf course and golfers often stop for drinks and meals. Have your friends contact SOG by phone or email to find out before you make plans. Honestly, the Garden Galley dinner buffet gets poor reviews and isn't worth the effort.

concur with Hilda.. the buffets are NOT all that. Mangino's has a better rep, but again, you need documentation or be a guest of someone who is authorized to stay on property.

We just stayed at SOG for the first time and did the seafood buffet at GG. It was one of the worst meals we have eaten EVER! I think "country" night would have been better, at least that food lends itself to sitting around on a buffet, ya know? Apparently GG has seafood night, prime rib night, country night...etc.
