Stupid question, re: Free Dining Plan

What exactly does that mean? Free? Does it really mean meals are free?

Hi Barb

If/when Disney announces the free dining, it is as part of a package, inlcuding rack rate room, passes and the DDP. Everyone in room must purchase a pass. It can be just a one day pass for each person.

The offer is not extended to DVC resorts, unless you are purchasing it as a package.

Rumor mill has it that the announcement will come Monday for Disney Visa holders and Thursday to the general public. The time frame is august to sept, again, dates will be limited.

Thanks, Jody. I figured there was a "catch" to this. I was too good to be true, a DVC room, my AP already paid and free food.
