Hi all! DH and I are debating about how to read the park hours schedule. :rotfl: When it is highlighted green for EMH evening hours and says 9-7, does the park close at 7 for off-site guests or for everyone? I say 7pm is when it closes for offsite and then EMH starts. DH says the park closes to everyone. Same thing for morning EMH. If it says 9-7, then EMH starts at 8 and then opens to everyone at 9. Right? :confused3 PLEASE HELP! :rotfl:

Thanks!

You are correct on this one. When the park hours are listed as 9-7, the park closes at 7, and EMHs would run from 7 - 10. And for the morning, the park would open at 8 fo EMHs and open at 9 for everyone.

Yup, the EMH are hours after the park "closes" or before it opens in the method that the DIS lists them.

One thing to note though, while off-site guests will not be able to ride any attractions during evening EMH, they will not be forced to leave the park. It's a sticking point for some people around here and can make the non-attraction portions of the park look a bit busier. Off-site guests cannot enter a parK during morning EMH (except for breakfast ADRs). Just a heads-up.

Yup, as others have explained that EMH runs 3 hours after the park is stated "Closed" so if it closes at 7, EMH is from 7-10. EMH also begins 1 hour before the park "opens" (8 am on most days). Most (off-site) guests think they have to leave, but they're only blocked off from attractions.

Side Note, a lot of people get confused about the Epcot Park Hours too.
At Epcot, it is stated that Future World closes at 7, however, the "Big" attractions remain open (Test Track, Mission: Space, Soarin', Spaceship Earth, Seas with Nemo and Friends) till the park (World Showcase) closes. For EMH, all EMH PM attractions, remain open for this portion too.

Awesome! Thanks for all the quick replies! :goodvibes I did NOT know that off-site guests could stay in the parks but not ride the attractions. I thought it was a "Get out" if you aren't paying us oodles of money for our hotels. :rotfl::rotfl: So I'm assuming it'd be okay to watch Spectromagic during an EMH night at MK? It's only going to be on once when we're there and it's not an EMH night or MVMCP night (I know MVMCP is a ticket only event and we're not paying the extra $ to do it since I talked DH into getting AP's! :thumbsup2) Thanks!
