If you pick the Fast Pass for your birthday deal- is that good for all rides or just the ones that offer FP :confused3 I know, silly question, right?? Sorry.

It's good for SPECIFIC rides at the park (so not even all FP enabled rides, as far as I can remember reading)- I can't remember which rides at which park, because we didn't pick that option.

I don't think I would choose this option, but it got me to wondering...

Is it only good for one park?

And...

Is it good for your whole group? Up to what size? Would be silly if it's not.

Thanks from a passer by!

Yes, only good for the one park, and Disney lists that it is good for up to 6 people in your party, but I've read on these boards that if your party is larger (7 or 8 I've read here), they have allowed it.

It's good only at the park you choose to go to on the birthday.

And it's good for your group, but I think the limit is 5 people, including the BD person. (or it might be 6 including the BD person, I can't remember).

No-one's mentioned it yet...but you only get FP for a total of 4 rides - 2 of the "E-ticket" rides and two lesser rides. It is not for ALL the FP rides in the park. Somewhere there is a list of the rides in each category for each park...but I don't know where exactly. And it is only good at the one park.

To me, I'd rather get an $80 gift card unless your birthday is on in peak season when FP are like gold. (July / early August, Thanksgiving or Christmas come to mind.)

when we went in April to MGM, it was good for 6 rides / shows. 3 for Donald and 3 for Daisy.

They were:
RNR
TOT
TSM

and

The Little Mermaid
Lights, Camera, Action (I think)
and one other show, can't remember which one.

The number is variable, and can vary between two and four per group, and varies by park and even day.

Complete details here.

I believe the merch card is worth the value of a one-day admission for the celebrant, which would put it at $75 for an adult, not $80 - unless they've changed that.

And if the rumors of a price increase are true, I'd expect that to change with it...

Oh, I assumed the Gift Card would be the equivalent of the 1-day ticket plus tax - which is why I got $80. You are probably right on that account.
