However, the facts about McCain or Obama birthplaces are neither here nor there: neither candidate would have been allowed to represent their party if they weren't citizens. I doubt either the DNP or the GOP would have skimped on their research for this. Not with a national race where the other side will be doing everything they can do to discredit the other candidate.

The "question his citizenship issue" is yet another wedge issue created to take attention away from the real issues that are directly affecting 95% of Americans right now:

The economy (includes job loss and rising inflation at the grocery store and gas station)
Lack of healthcare insurance
Energy issues

So how exactly are you educating the ignorant? And what does this have to do with the people in the video being willfully uneducated about the candidate they have decided is "a Muslim, a terrorist, and a ******" among other things? As the OP said, if you have legitimate political reasons (and clearly you are passionate about your feelings) that is fine. But some of the folks in this video aren't making educated choices. They are being bigots.

I totally agree. I hate redistribution of wealth, that's why I'm voting for Obama. I'm SICK and TIRED of MY WEALTH and the wealth of most other Americans being taken from us and handed out to billionaire fat-cats through giveaways, corporate welfare, bailouts, and bogus wars that diminish our security but line the pockets of the corporations that get fat contracts.

I find it funny that the "citizen" issue of Obama is brought up. When Mcain's birthpalce was brought up waaaaayyy back before the primary, prompting the congress to pass that he was a "natural born citizen"

(too be fair, he was born in the Canal Zone while his father was stationed there in the U.S. Navy.)

No offense but how's that capitalist mentality workin' out for America? Other than the top 5% that is.

What's wrong here is that the guys who are "making too much" are often just charletons working the system because they can. Does anyone really believe baseball players (A Rod @ 28 million per year) are worth the money they make? Or Disney CEO's (Iger made 27 million last year)? Or CEO's in general? Sure their jobs are tough but how tough? Tougher than performing brain surgery? Tougher than road construction work in Florida in July? Tougher than Teaching? Tougher than farming? Who's making these decisions in America right now? Yup, the free market economy - Stacked heavily in favor of the "haves" and wanting to share minimally with the "have nots". Yet despite the fraud that is the free market system we still have believers who can't see past the basic ideology, which is currently meaningless as todays system has been massaged and manipulated by those wishing to benefit from it at the expense of the average, less motivated (although perhaps more moral) work force.

It's easy to say it's your money and you earned it but when the field isn't level what makes it fair, what makes it yours?

Sharing the wealth in this day and age means leveling the playing field and there is nothing wrong with that.

Maybe for the same reasons GWB made a big pitch in his State of the Union address for mortgage companies to give mortgages to minorities, even if they couldn't come up with money for a down payment. He even set a percentage goal. Talk about strong-arming. Let's just ask ourselves......When did more of those crap mortgages come into existence? During Clinton's terms or Bush's? Are you one of the DISer's who doesn't think Socialism is a dirty word and will admit that you'd prefer it over Capitalism?? I'm asking in a serious manner because I know that some here have stated such an opinion. I'm interested to hear your perspective.
