stupid FB question, ugh

So you know how FB suggests you be friends with different people? I got one of those lists just now and thought I truly knew someone on it -- and sent a request. Well, as I kept scrolling the list, I found the *real* one, with the same name, who I know, but not the other one.

But now I can't remember the exact name / spelling of the one I requested, so I can *unrequest* --- does that make sense?

Is there a list somewhere that shows the requests I've sent?

Help, please! TIA!

There is a little icon at the top of the screen with two little people. Try clicking it and see if it shows up there. Not sure if you can undo a request or not, but if the person doesn't know you, they likely won't respond. If they accept you, just defriend them.

Thanks, I checked under that icon but my request list isn't there.

And yes, you can definitely undo a request.

Go to the person's wall, click on the box 'FRIENDS' on their cover photo (the horizontal big one) scroll down to the bottom of the drop-down list and click on "UNFRIEND".

You can also make someone 'restricted' on that drop-down list too.
