Stupid(?) Fast Pass+ Question

My 60 day FP+ window opens on Thursday, September 10th. I know that I can start making FP+ reservations at midnight ET. Is this midnight Wednesday 9/9 going into 9/10? Or midnight 9/10 going into 9/11?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but the midnight thing kind of confuses me.

I'm assuming it's Wednesday 9/9 right when the clock strikes twelve on Thursday, 9/10 and the coach turns into a pumpkin.

Correct. 12:00am September 10.

Just to clarify... Midnight 12am is the start of the day. So 12am is the start of the day of Sept. 10th. A day runs from 12am to 11:59.599pm. Once 12am arrives it is the start of that day.
