Stupid Disney Mix Stick Question

I am thinking about this for DD5. Can you plug in speakers instead of headphones? I am not thrilled with the idea of her using headphones, but if I could plug in speakers, she could have it on while she's playing.

Yes they work with the I-dog and any other speakers that take a headphone type jack.
They even sell a Jukebox that charges it as well as plays the music.

Also if you get a blank SD card you can save MP3 files to it and they play on the Disney Mix Stick as well. Not just the Disney SD card albums like High School Musical. We converted my daughters favorite CD's to MP3's and saved them to the blank SD card.

DH wants to do this, we have $30 in itunes gift certificates, I could buy songs from itunes, and then download them to the sd card. right?

I use I-tunes to do all my converting of CDs but I haven't downloaded anything from their store yet.
We also have a 1Gb SD card.

They need to be in the Mp3 format and I'm not sure if I-tunes will do that from their store.Someone else might be able to help with this one .

Any of the other format type download stores Napster or Wal-mart should be ok as they are in Mp3 format I think.
