I am so mad! I went to purchase tickets on Delta's web site with my mastercard. They have this new secure card program that I had to sign up for in order to use my mastercard. And after entering all of my info, Delta then won't accept my card. It is a debit card, and I know without a shadow of a doub that I have enough money to make the purchase. So I have no idea what is going on
So I call secure card. And the agent there can look at the transaction and says that for some reason the web-site is not reading my expiration date correctly. Talk to Delta. So I hit the web chat button, and all that guy does is give me a phone number so I can call Delta. I cant ell them the web-site is having problems. Fine. Already at this point is seems to be way too much hassle, but I will go for it.
So I call Delta. At first the guy can't even find the flights I am looking at. And when he does he quotes me a price that is more than $100 more than what the web-site is telling me! I get that sometimes when you call the prices are different, but it is because of the stupid web-site that I have to call at all!
The agent even refreshed his page and told me the same price again. I could quote him everything about the rate I was looking at xxx was the ticket xxx was taxes, but nothing doing. So I hung up without buying the tickets.
I'm so mad and frustrated! The flight times were perfect, and at a rate I could afford. Continental has a similar rate, but the flight times are not the best. UGH!!!
What the heck is going on?
