Stupid coffee question

I thought you were not allowed to bring coffee makers on board. If it is not one of the restricted items then next time I will pack our mini-drip pot or buy a travel Keurig to take with us.
You are correct, not allowed. If you pack it the ship electrician will take it and give it back at end of cruise. You could try to carry it on but if they find it they will not hold it.

On the Dream/Fantasy there is a little cafe on one of the main decks called Vista Cafe and anyone can order there (they also have pastries etc that don't cost anything). On Magic/Wonder - I don't think there is a specialty coffee location other than Cove ... but I'm not certain.
On the Magic/Wonder specialty coffee is available at Promenade Lounge
Aditionally, on the Dream/Fantasy you can get Cove coffee in Cabanas in the mornings

Coffee either at Palo or in the dining rooms seem to be much better than the drink station coffee.

Regular coffee is not good - I believe it is a reconstituted syrup product of some sort. I plan to bring some Starbucks VIA - which is the best 'instant' coffee I've tried!
It used to be reconstituted when it was Nescafe but when they switched to Joffrey's in 2013 or 2014 it was grounds. I like Joffrey's coffee but that's a personal preference.

Just did a b2b on the Dream and did not see coffee from Cove Cafe available in Cabanas.:confused3

Edit... Actually they might have the coffee at the bar section of Cabanas but I'm not really sure now.

We have several French press pots but this little travel machine, AeroPress, out-perfoms them all in providing a tasty cup of coffee. We grind Starbucks or Seattle's Best coffee and bring a baggie full along with the AeroPress.

I’m going to get one of these for DH for Christmas. He has a travel cup French press but it is not the greatest. He did roast and grind his own beans for our trip to China and used the French press. Having the AeroPress and fresh ground beans onboard will be great to have in the room before breakfast.
