Stupid Carryon Questions...

Hi I have 2 dumb questions regarding what you're allowed to put into your carryon...

1) Can I throw my disposable razors in my carryon or will they take them away from me and make me get hairier as the week goes on?

2) I'm bringing 2 throw-away cameras in my carryon. Should I take them out before they go thru the scanner? I wasn't sure if the film in them will get ruined like in real cameras.

1. Disposable razors are fine. I'm not sure if straight edges are still banned.

2. Unless it's 800 speed or higher, I think it's safe to let it go through.

I would take the cameras out. The effects of x rays are cumulative and even lower speed film can be damaged.

I always take all my camera equip as well as electronics out when I go thru security. I have it all in one big ziploc bag so it's easier for the security people to see what it is, but still keep it all together. Then back into the carryon bag it goes.

No need to take a camera out unless it is a video camera or you have film in the camera.

I am from the send everything through group. I have never had film ruined, but if it makes you nervous you can pull the cameras out and request a hand scan.
