Stupid Bag Check Line Question

I probably should know this, but I was just thinking and want to be sure. If you do not have a bag, and carry only a Hydroflask into the park, do you need to go thru the bag check line or can you go straight thru the guest without bags line?

Also, I'm assuming jackets do not count as bags unless they are in a pouch of some kind. As long as I'm wearing the jacket I should be able to go thru the guest without bags line, right? Just thinking ahead since I plan on having a rain jacket that packs into it's own little bag instead of a poncho when we go in July.

Correct, you can just go right in.

. . . carry only a Hydroflask into the park, do you need to go thru the bag check line . . .

1) I frequently carry a flask into the park.
2) However, not a "hyrdo".
3) Have always gone directly into the park, without bag check.

:cool1:

Whenever our trip comes in warm enough weather, my husband and I wear cargo shorts with lots of pockets, and a water bottle. I have a tiny bottle of sunscreen, a small brush, disposable poncho, phone and ziplock bag, and that's about it. I used to wear my ticket and credit card in a lanyard, but with the magic band I won't need one this time. Its nice not to have to wait in the bag check lines. It seems like the one at Epcot is always long.

:thumbsup2 This is exactly what I'm talking about. My days of carrying a bag into the park were pretty much over as soon as my DD stopped needing a diaper bag. Our last few trips have either been in cooler weather which meant I didn't need to carry a water bottle and the jacket was on my body already. :goodvibes This trip I'm going to be doing similar as you, but instead of the poncho I'm going to have a rain jacket that folds up into it's own little pouch and can be clipped to a belt loop. I figured I'd just watch the weather and carry it if they are calling for rain. In 12 trips, I've only needed a poncho 1 time so the odds are still in my favor, right? :lmao:
