hi myself and bev have been looking for holiday insurance.
bev has asthma and has to use 3 inhalers so when we went looking for the insurance, we had to declare her medical history.

post office 2 adults no medical history £120 with asthma £170
asthma society £130
throught bevs work nuffield health £150
Asda 2 adults no medical history £96 with asthma £120

Boots 2 normal adult £85 with asthma £96

so keep looking there is allways a cheaper way

Its not about cheapness Les, check the cover and Google what the companies are like for paying out.
In 25 years of going abroad I have tried to claim twice, once with ASDA insurance who wouldn't pay, they changed their underinsurers just after that as they had loads of complaints.
Other claim was this Easter with the ash cloud, Insure & Go refused to pay any claims.
I am now with M&S, I have a customer who is in the insurance business, he told me they are one of the best to deal with for a claim, I hope I don't find out.

I had to make a claim a few years ago when I was with Norwich Union / Aviva - they were really good and paid out straight away. In fact now I've remembered that I wish I'd taken out insurance with them this year - they were only £15 more than the quote I went for!!!!!

Wayne's advice is good. You HAVE TO look at what you are paying for. I also spent months reading reviews, sending emails and asking lots of questions. On a xxx thousand pound trip I have no interest in trying to save £20 for the sake of a "good deal". A good deal is only good if it is right for you. And since it is your honeymoon trip you want to be sure that you can relax and not worry about your cover. You will make the right choice. Don't rush into it.
