Okay, I feel stupid even having to ask this but it has been a long time since I have flown, and even longer since I have flown to the east coast. Here is my question. For my flight to Orlando from Oregon, I have a departure time of 6:30 am and an arrival time of 4:25 pm. Am I correct in thinking that this is 6:30 PST and 4:25 EST? Also, when I fly home I have a departure time from orlando of 10:35 am. Is this EST? I assume that the times are correct for the city that each portion of the floight takes place in but wanted to double check. Thanks!:goodvibes

yes, arrival time is EST and also EST when you board in Florida! It's always the time zone you are in, not the time zone you are going to!

Yep, departure and arrival times are always listed as the local time for the airport you are arriving at or departing from.

If you fly during Daylight Saving Time, you Oregon departure will be PDT and your Orlando arrival will be EDT -- but if you connect in Phoenix, your connection times will be MST (because Arizona doesn't participate in Daylight Saving Time).

The short answer is that flight schedules use local time at the airports.
