The show is coming out January 11 on the live Disney Channel, but a TBD spring 2025 date has been announced for all you streamers. What are your impressions?

The series just aired on Disney Channel on both coasts! This series gives me Survivor vibes since they put it somewhere in the Caribbean. I especially adore Sara’s cat shirt… she is the most beautiful of the 6 campers.

The EPISODE OF THE WEEK for 1/19/2025 is “Breakfast at Chippany’s”!

I cannot believe that Merian actually enjoyed the “slop” that all the campers have to succumb to every day at camp. At least the 40+ socks on Merian actually came in handy or else the campers would be nothing but bones.

So what are your thoughts on last week’s episode?

Just saw the first half of today's new episode. Chip knew what he was doing sleuthing Dr Lullah's plan to annihilate the world and ultimately get tricked, up until he PUT HIS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER for a "prize".

Apparently Disney still cares about this show! They're having a marathon of all the episodes so far on Disney Channel this July 30 starting at 3pm ET!

Okay, so I had not watched this show, but started to become intrigued by it. Since it hit Disney+ and checked out the shorts, and I think it won me over. It kind of has a Gravity Falls vibe, though a bit more silly. I'm going to check out a few actual episodes, but this one may be a real winner.

Okay, I have watched a few episodes - man, it's pretty great! It's much more snappy than I might have expected. It's a bit like Gravity Falls meets Recess (both great shows!). There is a lot of quick and biting humor. I particularly love Dr. Lula I think - she's so insane! As are the kids, but in a different way, and they're not tropey at all.

This show is cool - don't sleep on it!

Okay, I'm a few episodes in on this show now and I love it! Man, it's so...wild. There are a lot of quick and subtle jokes. I mostly love how unflappable everyone it - they're just like, :Okay, whatever," even when one of them is in mortal danger. It's sublime!

Anyway, I also learned that apparently StuGo may not get a second season. Production is on hold, but the creator says that if it does well on Disney+ that can keep it going! Do us all a favor - check out this show! It's good, and if you like things like Gravity Falls, or even something like Recess - seriously it's like a combination of those two shows - you would likely enjoy it. Just watch the shorts - they may convince you. I am guilty of being late to the party too, but hopefully not too late!
