Studying WDW for my MBA!!!

I am super excited. I've just been cleared to do an independent study on the immersion marketing of disney world as part of my MBA program. I'm going to study how it is that Disney can take a type-A control freak (me) and convince her that she's a kid with no worries. How is it that I'm willing to give this company thousands of dollars when a) I'm incredibly cheap and b) I disagree with a lot of their political/societal views and practices. This is going to really interesting. And I get to go to Disney World as part of the research!!! Woo!!! And I'll get college credit for it!!!

Wow, that is genius!! You'll probably be the only person in your programs that will be able to wear silly hats and eat Mickey bars as part of your "research"!

there are books out that deal with the business side of disney - read them, too

not as much fun as visiting WDW - but it does break it down.

write a great paper - hope it gets published!
