The studios are perfect for one or two people. The room is about the same size as a deluxe hotel room. There is a queen bed, a sofa bed, dining table with two chairs, tv armoire, a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, and a bathroom laid out like most of the deluxe resorts (toilet and tub/shower in one room, vanity just outside). Having the sofa bed to sit on is so nice and it makes the room seem much larger than it is. If there are only two people in the room, especially if they are sharing the bed, then no one has to sleep on the sofabed (although we've used it and it's been comfortable enough, I just think a bed sleeps better). If you book a studio at OKW, they are laid out a little differently, and have two queen beds instead of a queen and a sofa bed. Their bathrooms are larger and have the sink in the bathroom instead of outside.
As far as views, the studios have the same view choices as any other DVC rooms, as they are often next to one bedroom units so they can be combined if people are booking two bedroom units. For example, at BCV, you might look at the pool, you might look at BC, or you might have a slightly obscured view of Epcot (I usually request a top floor Epcot view, and I can usually see some fireworks from there). At VWL, you pretty much have a view of woods (although there are four studios at the far end of the floor that overlook a service area and are less desireable if you spend time on your balcony). I've never had a bad view at a DVC resort, but there are some people who don't think the views are as good as the views at the deluxe resorts.
