What is the best way to get from the Studios to Epcot? We have a day where we plan to start in the Studios and then have dinner plans in Canada at Epcot.

Thanks
Christine

Take the launch from DHS to Epcot. You will go through Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk and then dock at the World Showcase entrance to EPCOT. I would say allow 45 minutes, if not less, but 45 to be sure!

I would recommend allowing even longer than 45 minutes. In the time that my girls and I took the boat over, my husband made it from World Showcase to the Epcot parking lot, drove to Studios and was waiting for us at the boat dock!

Oh yeah, that's an easy one!
If you don't mind a walk, take the boat from MGM/DHS to the Swan/Dolphin, then walk to Epcot. You will probably beat the boat, since it still has to stop at the Yacht/Beach Clubs and Boardwalk, then Epcot.

If you want to ride the whole way, just get on at the Studios and get off at Epcot.

Enjoy! :)

When we were there in Sept. my DH and DD8 walked from DHS to EPCOT and were there way before we were on the boat. It is a hike, but they didn't mind.

Your other option is to take the bus from DHS to the Epcot Front gate, but then you would have the walk to Canada. It is probably faster than taking the boat; more walking is involved but less than if you just walked

We enjoyed the boat ride between DHS and Epcot back in October 2006. Yes, it is leisurely paced, but it provides a nice little break between touring the two parks! :goodvibes

We'll probably use the boat transfers again when we visit next month. ;)

THe boat is fun! Make sure you sit all the way in back outside so you can get a breeze if it's really hot. I like looking at the hotels that I'm too cheap to stay at:-) Take the boat, give yourself some time. Waiting for the boat could take a while. I think they have 4 or so running at a time, but it still takes 15 minutes inbetween each boat, or about that.
