Studios Overload, a Pop Mishap and One Smooth Talking Hubby FINAL DAY UP. PG 68

Sorry I have kept you all hanging on, trying to get last minute CHristmas shopping and decorating got in the way. This is the last weekend Steve has off before Christmas, so trying to do all the things I need him for this weekend

After the B word mishap, it was just about time to board.

We were in zone two, so did not have to wait that long to get on plane.

We were almost entirely in back of plane, which turned out to be a good thing, since we got our drinks and snacks almost first

This had to be one of the craziest flights we have ever taken. We hit so much turbulence, I really thought this was it about ten times during the flight

At one point when plane went to turn to change directions, he dipped so far to sideways, I thought I was in one of those stunt shows.

He was the craziest pilot ever

Here are a couple of pics from the plane. They are from our cell phone, so not best quality

We got 3 cokes and 3 mini bags of pretzels for our snacks. Steve and Trent barely touched there, so I ate and drank them all.

That was not a good idea

Have you ever tried using the bathroom on a plane during turbulence


Other than that turbulence, rest of flight was okay.

WE laned on time and took the monorail to terminal. We went across to side b, before going down the stairs, but guess we did not go down far enough, as we had to zig zag our way to ME lady, who was not very Magical

We were on a bus in 2 mins and on our way to POP

We were the very first stop and there was only one person in front of us at check in.

I strolled up to Gary, our CM and asked nicely if there were any rooms in the 60s building 4th floor and after some finger pecking on the keyboard, he found us one room left there..SCORE!!!!


After we got to our room, which was right behind the big play dough icon, we checked it out and got freshened up.

We had a date with EPCOT baybee

We had originally planned on going to T Rex today, but really didnt want to spend the extra money.

After we got up and dressed, we headed over to DTD.

Trent was on a misson to get himself some more Potato head, because Lords knows he does not have enough already

SO while Steve, our expert Potato Head stuffer did his thing, Trent and I played for about an hr.

After we were done with that, was on to bigger and better things....

Building a Light Saber

Steve and Trent had a blast doing that. I got to actually look around the store for once, not having to watch Trent, which was nice for a change.

After their grueling work, everyone was Hungry..we had never eaten breakfast and were starving

We were going to go and have a sandwhich at Earl of Sandwhich, but OMG...that line was insane

So we got back on the bus and hightailed it back to Pop Food Court

Trent and I had grilled cheese, fries and cookie. Steve had meatball sub with salad and Yougurt with granola for dessert.

It was all very tasty.

After we were done, we went back to our room to drop off our stuff and get freshened up.

THen next on our plan of attact...DHS


We grabbed a bus there and first mission was Indiana Jones Stunt Show.

This was a first For Trent and he was so excited

We had the most perfect timing. We walked up just as they were letting people in.

We had a great spot and Trent had a blast.


After that, we went on Star Tours. Trent is a Star Wars addict, so he was in heaven

My Brother in law works for arriba I Believe, the ones that sell balloons in the park. He was just finishing up his shift, so after he got changed, he met us in the park.

We all did Star Tours again, cause one can never have enough that right


THen it was off to Great Movie Ride. We had the gangsta one. I dont think we ever had the cowboy one that I hear about

Next we mosied on over to Toy Story Mania and wait was 70 mins

We got in line, Steve, Trent and I. Bil was going to wait in smoking area.

I told Steve to go ahead and wait with his bil, as I knew he really didnt want to wait. So he did...score me good wife points there

We have never waited in full que before, and it was awesome.

Trent got such a kick out of Big Mr. Potato Head. When he took his ear off, he was cracking up

I won with score of 62,700 and Trent got 41, 200.

I am proud to say we got up on time today unlike last year trip, where we overslept and were awaken by our ride outside honking his horn

We were picked up on time and the drive to airport went very smoothly.

We got through security with no issues, unlike like last year when someone left their cell phone in their pocket

While we were waiting, we got some food to tide us over. I had a bagel and pepsi (missed my pepsi in Disney) and Steve had a cuban and water. Trent didn't want anything



Then after we were done eating, I sat with Trent by glass watching planes. Then he dropped the B word



I have no idea what made him say it, but he said BOMB!!!!!!

I about had a heart attack. Thank god he said it softly or that would have been a nightmare

To this day, still have no clue what made him say that word




Well we are going to go out Christmas shopping now, so will have to continue this later tonight.

I'm finally reading your TR and checking out the pictures! I love Trent's pictures, lol, he always does take the best ones! He cracks me up! I've seen some pretty funny pics that he has taken and some great ones also. He's a good little photographer! I love the toilet one. You have to post the others, but then you may have, I just have to keep reading to find out, huh?

Very sorry for delay

With the craziness of the holidays, my mom up visiting for the week and my husband computer dying, just could not get it started any sooner

I just got on my husband computer, now that it is working to get the pics off and they are gone


so I am currently on facebook, saving them one by one into a folder on his computer again

Once that is done, I will begin to upload the rest of them to photobucket


I am going to be up awhile anyway, so figured mine as well be productive

Took Trent to doctors tnight as he has had a cough for about 4 days now and it started to sound worse

Turns out he has walking pneumonia in right lung and a slight wheeze. His left lung is clear

So now he had to take ten days worth of augmentin (nasty even with flavor) and oral predisone for his wheezing.


Gave him his first dose tnite and guess he took it too fast, as it all came back up


So did it again, but in smaller doses and it all has stayed down

One day down, 9 to go


Okay, back to saving pics

His cough was so bad that I knew he had something more than just a cold. What a bummer he had to be sick when I was there. I missed not being able to come over each day this visit. I feel like I hardly saw you gyuys. Of course I was there long enough that I too am sick now, lol. Oh well it was worth it to see you, even though not as much as I'd have liked.

I'm glad his next dose stayed down, poor baby! I hope he's well enough now to go to school tomorrow!

I need you to get my rooms I want.......this trip they put me in the exact opoosite location i requested.....really p-d me off......

Earl is a long line with all the free dinging going on.....they need to cut some deals for more rest. on DP in DTD area.....We waited, took us about 20 min. line was very long but does move fast........great samiches!!!! Fish place is awesome for count. service (prob. not for Trent though)..plus you get a deep fried snickers bar......it was sooo grosss........tell you later!!!

You can never have too much potato head stuff........or the light saber stuff for that matter.......you never know when it will come in handy!!!!

DHS- cool on Toy story ride......nobody else I know got to ride it.....lines way too long......like 90 min., fastpasses for 8 O'clock at night......crazy

Ind. jones.......always a classic.....i ruin it for people and tell them to find the guy in the hawaiian shirt in the audience!!!!

Great movie ride......one of our favs and we dont know why??? I have been in the Western......swear it!!!!! They have 2 rooms for shoot outs at the end....you get the western or the gangsta......I think it depends on crowds.....

Star wars tour......glad Trent got to go twice......its starting to make me sick in my old age....we dont do it anymore.........DW wont go near it.........

I believe I left off with Trent and I finishing up at Toy Story Mania.

My mind is a bit foggy, but think Trent was hungry and we got a huge bucket of popcorn and big coke, even though Pepsi rules

It was time for our Bil to pick up his friend from work, so we said our goodbyes for now and made our way out of the park.

It was time for MVMCP

I believe we hopped on a bus for Polynesian and then took monorail to MK. Boy that was fun

THe wait for a monorail was almost half hr....we were so ticked.

But hey were were going to Mk

When we got thru the entrance at MK, we were greeted by this

Not the best picture, but boy was it crowded

Luckily most of those people were heading out and once we go thru that mess, it was smooth sailing

Unfortunately, as Steve was trying figure out camera settings to get a good night shot of castle all lit up, the one camera battery died.

Then we switched to our other camera and the memory card was back at hotel

I was so sad as I really wanted a ton of pics tonight, but hey crying isn't going to help, so on with the show

Showing you the shot that sort of came out and one that definitely did not come out

After I pulled myself together, it was time for some fun.

Trent was so excited to go on the train roller coaster. He was tall enough and ready to ride

The wait was about 15 min, not too bad. Trent loved it

After that we swung over to Tomorrowland, to take a spin on Buzz Lightyear. Steve got 153,600, Me 5,700 and Trent 3,210.

Needless to say, I sucked at that

I was really itching to try some hot chocolate and get myself some cookies. As they say, if it is free, it is for me..lol

So we went over to Fantasyland and took a seat at Pinnochio Haus and enjoyed our cocoa and cookies

We decided to just hang out there for a bit and watch the fireworks.

It was a great spot since it was perimter ones, you could see it no matter where you looked

Even though they were great, I am sorry, but they just did not compare to the show they put on for MNSSHP

Afterwards we strolled on over to Toon Town. While Steve and Trent went on Goofy's Coaster as Trent calls it, I went into County Bounty to try and find Minnie Mouse Christmas headband. No luck

Once they were done there, we went back to Fantasyland and rode Pooh, Snow White and It's a Small World.

It was a perfect time to ride these rides as the parade was going on and everything was a walk on

Oh we also went on Peter Pan. Suchs a short ride, but oh so fun !!!

We were getting tired, but Trent wanted to do one more ride. We went over to Space Mountain, as Trent was finally tall enough, but it had shut down early

Instead, we decided to go take a ride on Pirates instead.

That was fun as usual. Then we spent about half hr in the gift shop. Trent and Steve fighting with swords..too cute

We were tired at this point and were ready to call it a night, but the parade was in our way

Trent is not a big fan of parades, so we had to do some maneuviring around to get out to main street

Thank god they were letting people through. Every few mins, the CM would let a group of people run across street before next float came.

We only had to wait about ten mins and at least I got to see some of the parade

The wait for a bus was not too bad since we were leaving about an hr early.

Once we got back to the hotel, we were starving and food court was closing in 15 mins.

We ordered a pizza and took it back to the room to chow down.

While Trent ate and watched one of his movies on his dvd player, steve and I ate and watched Malcolm in the middle.

That concludes the end of day 2.

I am so sorry about the lack of pictures, but what you going to do when one camera dies and other has no memory
