Studios Overload, a Pop Mishap and One Smooth Talking Hubby FINAL DAY UP. PG 68

Not a lot to report, but thought I share something minor

Not sure if everyone familiar with Sunshine Rewards, but it is a survey company, where u get paid from 50 cents to 90 cents to take surveys.

Does not sound like much, but it can add up, if you do it everyday or almost everyday ;)

I ended up with almost$300.00

I recently cashed out $175.00 of it

One of the cash outs they offer are Disney World Gift cards, so of course I chose that :thumbsup2

I got a$100.00 gift card to put towards our MVMCP Tickets :santa:

I got a $75.00 gift card to use for tips for our meals, since no longer included in dining plan :goodvibes

74 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah!! Good for you. I haven't tried that yet...I do mypoints instead..same kind of thing where you do surveys to earn points to cash in for gift cards...although they don't have WDW!

wow that is awesome!!!!! How reliable is it? Like I don't really like people knowing my personal bank info and mainly bank with my credit card and then pay it off. Do you have to supply some sort of banking info in order to do this? I'd love to add that to my obsession along with Dis!!!

Thanks!!!

Sent u a PM :wizard:

Thanks Marsha

I have done mypoints, but never keep up with it

WTG on the gift cards Kelly! :woohoo:

Thanks Jen.

Can't wait to get them in my hands :cool1:

:yay::yay::yay:yay sunshine!!!!!!

Wow, that sunshine payout is really great. The most I've ever cashed out was $20.00. I try to keep it up but I fail. I think you just gave me some motivation though, I'm going to sign on tomorrow!!!!

Hi There

I am taking a break from it, as I am sunshined out

But it really can pay out if you keep at it

I would just do a daily survey and a Two Cents Survey a day. Plus do any paid clicks and scratch off each day

I never did the offers or anything as that was too much for me

Good Luck :wizard:

How long did it take you to make that much? I was working really hard on it a few months ago and made like $40 in a month. I got sick of it, so now I'll just click on paid clicks once in awhile and have just over $40. I'll get back into it eventually, I guess. But you did a great job. They really are good for saving you cash on Disney stuff.

Hey Nikki

Not sure. Maybe like 5 months?

I am sick of it right now, too :rotfl2:

But when time for our next trip after this one, I will find that motivation again :wizard:

So, DS, DH and myself took a little adventure today

DS is so into legos.

We saw they were having a grand opening of lego store in Paramus, NJ

We had no clue where this was, but we plugged address into GPS and it was 108 miles away

Can U say Road Trip

So the trip was not too bad as DS slept 95% of the time

Had to spend almost $9 dollars in tolls, though :scared1:

We arrived safely in a little under 2 hrs :thumbsup2

Lego store was inside Westfield Garden Plaza Mall. This was like no mall I have ever seen before. It was Humongous...It even had it owns parking garage

After driving around for what felt like forever, we found a parking spot.

Now we had no clue where Lego Store was in the mall, so we parked wherever we could find a spot.

We ended up about half hr away from Lego store....okay, not sure if that far, but sure felt like it with all that walking :rotfl2:

Once we got there, DS was in Lego Heaven

Me not so much. It was so crowded, but you do what u have to for those u love :lovestruc

I took DS around to explore all the lego sets that were built, while DH got to work on stuffing a Lego Cup

For $14.99, you got a huge tumbler like lego cup and could stuff as many pieces as you could fit in it.

It look him about half hr, but he got probably over 100 pieces :woohoo:

In back of store, there was a section where you could make your own lego people. It was 3 for $9.99. DS spent about half hr making his, but then when we were about to check out, he found something better, so we passed

Here is DS standing next to a giant lego Man

Trentandlegoman.jpg

They had a lot of cute set ups in store. Since it was so crowded, could hardly take any pics, but here is one I snapped of a Lego Rock Band

rockband.jpg

Then we went to check out. DS got an Indiana Lego Set, 3 pack of Star Wars Character, a gold lego man keychain(which dh is going to turn into c3po) and his tumbler of lego pieces

Anyone who spent $35.00 or more, got a free Lego Tshirt. If I can find a picture later, will borrow it and post it. Plus, each person got two lego duplo blocks with Yoda on them. I will look for a pic of them online later too

Before we left, I got one more pic.

Here is DS standing in front of a giant lego block

Sorry the pictures were not that great, but like I said it was so crowded, I had to snap fast as we could barely move in there.

When we were finished, we ate lunch at Johnny Rockets. Very cute little place that served burgers and shakes.

All in all, fun little adventure :goodvibes

hey girl. so glad you guys had a fun day! Sounds nuts but from the picture I can see that your DS was in lego heaven for sure and so happy to have such a great mommy and daddy. :goodvibes I bet he will remember that forever:thumbsup2

I didn't know you had cashed in some of your Sunshine, you've done good, you haven't mentioned it lately so had no idea you had accrued so much. Good job Honey! That's awesome, less money out of your own pockets!:hug:

That is like me Nikki, I got disgusted because I would spend so much time trying and never get a survey, was hardly making anything. Then I got hooked on Facebook and well I spend too much time there and not enough time here or on Sunshine. Maybe I'll start trying again. I could maybe get a few bucks on a Walmart gift card for Christmas gifts.

You didn't tell me hardly any of that :sad1: You sent me the adorable pictures of course and that is the main thing but you didn't tell me about Johnny Rockets. That place is cool, ate in one in Scranton outside of the movie complex but they were so expensive. It was a one time thing, fun and something you have to do at least once!

I didn't know he got anything more than the shirt. What Star Wars Lego characters did he get because he had just asked me for the C3PO Lego man and I was going to try to find that and send it up to him. Did you get the picture of the back of DS shirt in your email? I sent it last night so you could post it. I guess I"ll find out once I continue reading huh? LOL!

Oh that was great they let you fill a tumbler full of lego pieces! That was like when we were stuffing the box at the toy store in DTD and got him so many pieces. I am not surprised at all that DH got him around 100 pieces. YOu should have done what we did in Disney, lay them all out on the bed and take a picture of how many you got stuffed in there, LOL. :rotfl2:

That mall sounds awesome, I've never been to that one. Other than the Mall of American in MN, the biggest one I've ever been to was the King of Prussia Mall, I thought my feet would fall off walking in there! I need an ECV to do the malls up there, LOL.

:love::hug:

Just a small trip update and personal life update

First up, I called up T Rex and got us a reservation for Thursday, Dec 3rd for a late lunch. After we are finished up there, will head over to MVMCP :santa:

I am very excited to eat there. DS is really getting into dinosaurs, so I will think he will get a kick out of it there :thumbsup2

Second, today was DS first day of school

After not getting a lot of sleep last night, I was really worried he would have a bad day.

But he came out all smiles. He said he had a great day and he got a good behavior sticker :woohoo:

Here is one pic of his friend's sister, him and his friend

DSCI0644.jpg

Here is a pic of just him ready for his first day

DSCI0646.jpg

I think DS will love the T-Rex. I enjoyed it when I was there, it is a bit loud but I don't think it will be uncomfortably loud for him. I love the glaciers and the lights and you have to look at the big prehistoric octopus on the ceiling there are hidden mickeys and I think hidden Donalds up there!

He looks as cute as ever but of course I've already seen these pictures and have them saved on my computer!!! I have to start a whole new collection since my old laptop with the slide show screen saver died :sad1:

What a cute Tater shirt!:lmao: You would find something like that!

I'm still jealous you're going out to breakfast with Carla and meeting up at the pool. You're going to have to put up with your mom and me whining for the next 4 months.:lmao:

Trent looks so happy in those school pictures. I'm so glad he wasn't one of the kids that cried on the first day of Kindergarten.

Good job keeping up with the Christmas colors.

Lets go crash their party Nikki! LOL, wouldn't that be great if we could! You knkow I'll be whining as I want to go everytime they go to be with DGS. I hate to miss anything with him. :sad1:
