Studios Overload, a Pop Mishap and One Smooth Talking Hubby FINAL DAY UP. PG 68

Kelly, your ADRs look terrific. I bet you were freaking out when your ressie wouldn't load. I know I would have been. :faint:

Kona's macadamia nut pancakes look insanely good and I am dying to try Boma for breakfast.

wahoooo for adr's and updated plans! So excited for you! and great ADR's! I am trying Biergarten for the first time and I'm actually very excited, as is John!

THanks Jen

I totally was

Thinking is it the Browser I am using, was my reservation cancelled, the possibilites were endless :confused3

But it was just my own stupidity :lmao:

Everything looks great Sharky! Boma sounds really good. Maybe I will try that next trip ..sigh so many choices. Sorry you couldn't get Le Cellier.

ADR's look great, new plan looks great! You are well on your way! We are in the same parks several days! We are bound to bump into each other!!!

DS's pic from orientation is adorable! Mine started on Monday! I am going to post an update about that early next week! Already a lot to write about!

I'm going to go get the number for T Rex for you now and post it on here for you!! BTW...did you know they have a gift shop there where you can make a dinosaur kind of like build a bear??? Just thought I'd mention it...figuring you are going because DS likes dinos!!

 ADR's made!! Glad you got em done Kelly. Hey, you didn't try to get a lunch at all??

As the Le Cellier whisperer, I will offer you my services...:rotfl:

Sorry for the delay all.

So, this morning, alarm went off at 5:50am...got up, brushed teeth and got myself a drink

Then, I turned on computer and logged into Disney Site. Well, 6am rolls around, and I am on a race to get that Le Cellier.

I tried 3 times to enter my Disney reservation number so I can associate all of my adrs with it and make all of my adrs.

It kept saying..Cannot retrieve Resort reservation. I tried over and over again and am freaking out :scared1:

I went and looked at my Reservation number, even though I knew it was right ;)

Guess what????

I had dropped off the first number, my bad :lmao:

After that was all straightened out, I began once again

Tried for LeCellier. Could not get a thing :sad2:

THen I tried Chef Mickeys for night of MVMCP and again nothing

Things were not looking good :headache:

After playing around a bit with adrs and talking to my husband when he got home from work (night shift), we got it all worked out :thumbsup2

Here is our list

Dec 2nd.....CS meal at either POP or will grab something at DTD

Dec 3rd....T Rex...paying out of Pocket for late lunch before MVMCP

Dec 4th...Rose and Crown for Dinner

Dec 5th... Boma for Breakfast and Biergarten for Dinner

Dec 6th..Chef Mickey's for Dinner

Dec 7th... Kona Cafe for Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare Cinderella's Gala Feast for Dinner

Dec 8th....Counter service wherever we go that day.

My DH decided LeCellier not that important to him. He excited to go back to Biergraten as he loves it there. So that worked out well

With having to make adr changes came changes to our Itinerary. Will post new itinerary in next post

Here is the update continued from last post

Since I had to change our original ADR plan, I had to tweak our Itinerary. Here is the update version:

Dec 2nd - Arrive mid afternoon, check in and head to DTD. Afterwards, we will either head to MK or Epcot or just go back to resort to hang out if we are all tired

Dec 3rd.... Late lunch at T Rex and MVMCP

Dec 4th.... Epcot in the morning, early dinner at Rose and Crown and then take boat over to DHS for Fantasmic. Finally, our Lifers Meet at 10:30 at Pop :cool1:

Dec 5th... Breakfast at Boma, AK for a few hours, back to hotel for a break and then on to Epcot for some rides and to see Illuminations finally :wizard:

Dec 6th..... Mk in morning, Early dinner at Chef Mickeys and then over to DHS to see Osborne Lights and EMH

Dec 7th... Kona for Breakfast, possibly DTD, 1900 Park Fare for Dinner and then over to MK for EMH :woohoo:

Dec 8th... Check Out :sad1: I will leave it up to my my boys , on what they want to do our last day

Everything looks great girl! That sucks about Le Cellier but glad that DH doesn't seem to care. I would take Cheri up on her services though :thumbsup2

BTW, we are eating at Kona for breakfast on the same day still. Did you still want to do that together? Or no? We don't have to. Just thought I would ask since we are still planning it on the same day out of coincidence. :goodvibes

Sorry you didn't get LeCellier. I'm one of those crazies who doesn't like it, so I don't really think you're missing out on all that much. Of course, I'm not crazy about a lot of Disney's restaurants and would be completely happy dining at any of the plethora of restaurants in the Orlando area.

Are you sure you're going to make those breakfasts?;)

I agree.....ate there twice.....first time was great......2nd time it went way down hill.......steak the size of a biscuit served on a turkey platter with 2 red skin potatoes the size of golf balls......that was it for $35
And it wasnt a filet either...........

Big River Grille had a very nice steak....w/potatoes, asparagus, salad, dinner rolls........mmmmmm getting hungry........Oh and BEER.........I like beer!!!!!

My plan is to eat a nice dinner at Big River and then slide out to the patio and light up my big fat cigar from Sosa family cigars (DTD) & enjoy a stout ale !!!! Now thats a good night......

Hey girl

Yeah, I hear rave review from some and not so good from others.

We will make it..that why I did not make it for earlier time like 7 am :scared1:

All your ADRs sound great. I wish we'd have had the dining plan when we were all there together as I would loved to have eaten in some of those restaurants. We have eaten at the Biergarten though and that was good.:lovestruc

Hi Mom

Yeah, that would have been nice. But we had such a sweet deal at campground, with nightly rate :thumbsup2

I made a few purchases and thought I share.

I heard Disney store is discontinuing adult tshirts, so they had some on sale.

So I picked out this one. You probably can not tell by the picture, but it is covered in sparkles, which I love :lovestruc

I could not find the exact shirt that I got DS, but this is pretty close, graphic wise. His shirt is red though, not white....white is not good for kids

This last one I snagged at Sears. DS caught a glimpse of it on our way out, so I went over and picked it up. I also found one more, but could not find a picture of it. The other shirt is red and has 4 of them on it

After comparing schedules with Leger13(Carla), we noticed we had Kona on the same day for breakfast.

We had discussed in past eating together, but was not sure if we would be able to.

She was kind enough to make the call and got us a group reservation, her 4 and mine 3, all together at Kona for breakfast on Dec 7th

So excited. Now we have two guaranteed Meets :woohoo:

Awesome shirts! I can't believe they are discontinuing adult shirts :sad2: My DD got the Mickey version of that shirt for her birthday. Very sparkly!

Can't believe ya'll booked on the same day. Sounds like you're going to have a blast!

I am so bummed out that too. I think you will still be able to get some online, but not very many

So excited to all eat together.

Thanks..Can't wait :cool1:

Just a small trip update and personal life update

First up, I called up T Rex and got us a reservation for Thursday, Dec 3rd for a late lunch. After we are finished up there, will head over to MVMCP :santa:

I am very excited to eat there. DS is really getting into dinosaurs, so I will think he will get a kick out of it there :thumbsup2

Second, today was DS first day of school

After not getting a lot of sleep last night, I was really worried he would have a bad day.

But he came out all smiles. He said he had a great day and he got a good behavior sticker :woohoo:

Here is one pic of his friend's sister, him and his friend

Here is a pic of just him ready for his first day
