Studio vs Deluxe studio

When I look up my reservation online it shows that I am staying in a deluxe studio at BCV. Is this just a regular studio or do they have deluxe and non-deluxe studios?

I noticed the same thing. The rhetoric changed to differentiate DVC studios from all the rest. A rose by any other name . . .

Not all DVC studios are "deluxe". Those of us who reserve a value studio at AKV-Jambo get a plain, ole' studio. So am I supposed to feel I'm missing out?

Oops! Perhaps it's a Value "Deluxe."

The Disney website now refers to DVC rooms as "deluxe villas."

They used to be called "home away from home" or something like that.
