Studio TV's

Have the small televisions been upgraded at the BWV pr BCV studios? They are so small.

They have not at VWL, and after staying at AKV, what an adjustment!

Will all DVC resorts get Flat Screens eventually. I see now (The Deluxe Resorts) WL, BC, and BW have been done and of course the BLT and AKV will have them... DVC resorts (OKW, VWL, BCV, BWV, SSR, HHI, and VB) NEXT?? Anyone with the 411, Thanks Ahead!!

We were in a BWV studio last week. The old, small TV was still there. A manager-type CM told us the DVC side would be refurbished sometime next year - with new TVs. I hope he's right.

Thanks for the updates. We keep hoping they will replace the ones in the BWV and BCV soon. I can honestly say we have stayed in Hilton Garden Inn's and Courtyards with bigger TV's. Keep your fingers crossed.

We'll be at BWV in March. Hopefully they will have started replacing the small TVs with flat-screens.

Keep in mind replacement TV's would come from member dues. There's a reserve fund for refurbishments, it would come from there, so there has to be money available. They would also have to replace the cabinets to fit a larger TV.

You're right. I was hoping for a two-fold solution...mount the tv's on the wall and have a little extra dresser space. Oh well, it will happen eventually.

Honestly, I've never considered the TV's at BCV studios or VWL studios to be small. We were at both of them in August, and while not flat screen TV's, I didn't think they were too small, especially considering the size of the room.

Now the ones at OKW, those are tiny and the studios there are much larger besides. I agree though that any change in size of TV's at any of those locations will have to involve a change in the furniture that presently houses those TV's.
