We had to slightly change our plans and added a night in a studio at BWV pool view. After the 1st night, we switch to a 2 BR for the rest of our trip. Will we stay in the same studio unit for the 2 BR? It would be so much more convenient if we did not have to pack up after the 1st night in a studio.

If you have reserved preferred view, and made the reservation through Member Services, you have a chance. You can request this at check in. If you reserved through CRO you most likely will have to change rooms. AT the very least you will have to check out and then check back in that morning.

Wouldn't that be nice. I think you have a 50/50 chance. I would ask MS to note your reservation about your request. Some resorts including BWV preassign rooms and the Front Desk doesn't like to move people around.

One issue you may run into is if the studio is dedicated (no lockoff).

Thanks for all of the replies. Both the studio and 2 BR units are preferred view booked through MS. I will call them and ask but I still do not have an official reservation. The studio is on hold as they try to get my holding points in the system to use for the studio. I booked the studio in the same call that I cancelled the last two days of our trip. The issue is with the systems dept for the last 4 days. I call everyday and they tell me the room is still on hold as they try to fix the issue. I am getting a little nervous because the reservation is now less than a week away.

I will also bring up the issue at check-in. They may like to not have to clean the studio part of the room, especially during busy Thanksgiving week.

My family has done what you are looking to do. We did have to check out and check back in again (as mentioned by CarolAnnC). We told them the situation when we checked in and they really worked to make it happen. It was during a busy time of the year too so it wasn't a situation where lots of rooms were vacant. Good luck.
