Studio Supplies?

Just wondering how many sets of towels do you get at the start of your week in a studio? Do you also get soaps and shampoos like at other resorts? Since we'll be in a studio, we're hoping we won't have to pay for extra towels just to make it thru the week.

Right, but how many do we start with? DH does not (at home or on vacation) use a towel or washcloth twice. I'm just trying to figure out how many towels we'll have to get thru 3 monrings and possibly 2 or 3 after pool showers. We drive, so it might be simpler to bring extra towels from home if we'd have to pay for a lot of extra towels. Do we just get 1 set per person or do we get 4 sets in studio since it sleeps 4? If we had 6 sets that should last us 3 to 4 days for the 2 of us - it's a lot of towels I know, but it's what we use.

This seems a bit excessive to me, so I would consider telling DH the situation. Tell him that the DVC will only give them X towels, and he has to either re-use or HE can pack more if HE really wants to. Let it be his issue, and see how important it really is to him. If it really is, he will have no problems packing additional towels.

I think the laundry facilities are free for members. Maybe try washing the towels on your second day or something like that. You will need to bring detergent though since they do not supply this in a studio room.

You will get 4 bath towels and wash cloths, 2 hand towels, and a mat for a studio. These will be replaced on day 4 of your stay (check-in day is day 1)

Additional towel packs are $6.

Thanks - DH is happy to either pay the additional or bring extra towels from home, just needed to know quantities to plan. 1 extra pack would cover us for a week - 12 total towels and washcloths will be plenty - well worth it to make everyone happy and not need to do laundry on vacation!

If DH has to have a quirk, liking to use clean towels is something I can live with! We might not even need extra - kinda depends on weather, trips to the pool, etc, but I'd rather know the options.

Your DH must be the exception to the rule . Most guys I know would consider that if they have been in the pool that that is equal to a shower so would only need one towel for the day and no additional shower besides the pool shower. At least that's the way the gene pool is for DH, DGS and DBs.

Oh, the other half of my question - do you get soap and shampoo in the DVC rooms like you do in the regular rooms? Mostly just wondering about the little hand soaps as we never use the shampoos anyway.

Yes, the same H2O supplies that regular deluxe resorts receive, only they are replentished on day 4 and not daily.
