HI Everyone,
In your experiences, what DVC resorts have the largest studios? We own at BLT and have stayed there twice. Great location, but small studio!! I think while the kids are still little, we are trying to save points by staying studio, but would like to try out some of the other resorts.
What do you recommend? Top threes????
Thanks!

AKV "value" are the smallest at about 320 sq ft (all others at AKV are much larger, see below). BLT are the second smallest at about 340 sq. ft.

All others except OKW are in the same general sq footage range at around 360. OKW clocks in at close to 380.

As to where else to stay, that could be any. You might want to try an Epcot resort, BWV or BCV, or maybe even AKV for its savannas

not only is OKW bigger - it has 2 queen beds - not a queen and double sleeper sofa. So more room to sleep in.

the problem not a great place to sit and watch TV - if you do that.

Actually that is good information to know. Will have to save this post. Thanks. :goodvibes

Will any of the studios fit a twin size air mattress. We have 4 people, 2 married adults to sleep in one bed, but one boy, one girl both teen years, so we need seperate sleeping arrangements for them.

The OKW studio would have plenty of room for a twin sized air mattress.

Studios at most resorts will fit a twin air mattress - especially if one teen just sleeps on the couch (without opening it up) and the other uses the air mattress.

OKW has 2 queen sized beds in the room and an air mattress will need to go where others would have to walk to use the bathroom so other resorts might fit the mattress more easily as long as the sofa bed is not opened up.

Doc,

Is it doable to turn the inside bed sideways and push it up against the wall to leave room for the air mattress in an OKW studio?

Not sure about the rehabed rooms, but in the old ones that would not have worked.

You know, I hadn't thought of one sleeping on the couch and one on the air mattress, that might work or I am wondering, maybe 2 twin mattresses and not pull out the couch ( I would just have to bring sheets).

though there was soom over closer to the table for a small bed.

you move the table closer to the door (door to the 1-bedroom) and then there was room?
