We will get one 4 pack of breakfast sandwiches. Some brands say they are ok in fridge for a day or two. Cream cheese, coffee creamer, eggs , (microwave cooking), bagels, rolls, lunchmeat, cheese, some cut up veggies, (not a whole tray), english muffins, oj, soda.
The most creative we get, is last trip, we had wraps with us and bought the fried chicken dinner. Leftover chicken, I shred, added a pack of BBQ sauce , heated , added cheese. The,rest are more normal stuff.
As far as the coldness of fridge, I've already added a bag of ice(double bagged) to it if I felt it was not cold enough. Also have brought a smallish foldable cooler and stored soda in it with a bag of ice, when I was using the fridge for food. As the food was eaten, more soda went into fridge. I would set it on a towel or two just in case.
