I know I have seen this discussed before so I apologize for repeating the question but I can't find the other thread. We were wondering what the cooking policy is for Studios (we are staying at OKW). We were thinking about bringing a waffle maker or something similar since we are lazy in the mornings and usually miss breakfast. Is this allowed? Are there any appliances that aren't allowed that anyone knows of. Thanks for the help.

Hi, I really cannot see any reason why you could not use a waffle maker in a studio. They already have a toaster and microwave and I know a blender is fine to use ;). The counter space ia a little limited but homemade waffles sound GREAT to me!! I am pretty sure you can find mix and syrup in the OKW store also.:) Joan

Or you could just get Eggo waffles and put them in the toaster. The freezer section of the refrigerator in the studio isn't that big, but you could probably put a box of waffles in there.

As long as you don't use a grill or similar at the unit, you should be OK. Waffle makers, slow cookers, etc should be fine.

We brought our Foreman with the multiple plates a couple of years ago. We we stayed for a little over 3 weeks and didn't want to eat every meal out. I made pancakes, eggs, waffles, steaks, burgers, chicken with the Foreman and used the mirco for baked potatoes, veggies, etc. It worked out great.

Dean is correct. No hibachis or barbeque grills on the balconies or porches, either.
