Love all the hillbilly moments! I don't think you guys are hillbillies though, there's nothing wrong with being really excited over staying in such a beautiful resort! I try to act all mature when we stay somewhere new, and that lasts for about 10 seconds before I'm freaking out! So what's the equivalent to a hillbilly if you live in CT? Because that's me, I guess!

Your room is so beautiful! It's seriously almost making me regret switching to WL! Today is exactly 45 days from my trip, I wonder if you can still make changes at exactly 45 days?

Aww, that giraffe is so cute, I love giraffes!

Just got all caught up on your report and I have to say I love it!

You have a great writing style - very entertaining!

Your report has been very useful to us - we are considering going back to WDW at some point in the future and we had considered staying at Universal for a few days first.

But your report has shown us what we knew in our heart of hearts - that if you are in Orlando - the first place you want to go is Disney!

We might put a couple of days at Universal in the middle of our Disney goodness!

I love the picture of John snuggling up next to the towel Mickey head!

This is the first trip report of yours that I've read and so far I love it...We have been to Disney 7 times since 2002 and have not been to Universal...EVER. I too always get that question, "Do you ever go to Universal? and I always say, No. Everything I want to see and need to do is at WDW.

I love your love of the Sea World dolphins!! It truly makes my eyes water when I read stories about dolphins saving distressed surfers from sharks and such. And that screaming sea lion was truly the best- the San Diego Sea World sea lions do the exact same thing and it always cracks me up!

The picture of John figuring out you were staying at AKL was seriously so HILARIOUS!!! Playing tricks on the big tough guys is just so satisfying!

And also, congrats on your new house!!! I bet your dogs will love their new yard!

John just had to notice the darn ADR list Hahahaha Well, at least he was still happy about the change in resorts I'm a huge fan of AKL, so I definitely approve of your decision to change as well Hahaha

at the Jambo pronunciation. Imagining someone saying that it must've been pretty funny to hear Hahaha

I've never stayed in Jambo House, only at Kidani and I must say I love the lobby at Jambo. It seems a bit bigger and there are actually rooms surrounding it. Seems like a lot more to do. And the chandeliers are VERY cool.

Love all the towel animals you got, from my memory, I'm still yet to get more than just the Mickey head formation, so it's cool to see the towel animals other DISers have gotten

to watching Stacey! After reading a few TRs raving about her, I'm starting to develop an interest in her. I actually found the Must-Do TV Spot video on YouTube. I still need to watch videos from before then, but it always gives me my Disney Fix, reminding me of the first time I put on the TV in my "Home"

Great Updates! I am back to work now too (the start of the school year is always wild isn't it?) so I totally understand being crazy busy.

The picture of your husband on the way to AKL is my favorite I am sorry your didn't get to keep the surprise as long as you hoped -- but I am pretty impressed you got that far! I would have blurted it out way before that!

We have never stayed at AKL (but my parents did their opening weekend! I am second generation Disney Obsessed! My son is third ) But we love Boma and wandering around the resort.

I hope the moving process is going smoothly for you and that your school year is off to a great start.
