stuck on a ride?

On my last visit, I was talking to a group who got stuck on Splash Mountain for 45 minutes. I've gotten stuck on a few rides over the years (including IASW), but never for more than about five minutes. On my trip in September, we were stuck on Buzz for a couple of minutes, but it was just before we were in the first target room. I was thinking if I had just been a little further up, I could have gotten a few more points while the ride was stuck! I was wondering what the longest someone has been stuck on a ride.

We were stuck on Splash for close to an hour back in 2002. Apparently, there had been 2 accidents just after we boarded our log (we were right by the Slippin' Falls sign when the ride stopped)-- someone had slipped and fallen disembarking after the ride, and someone tried to stand up during the ride and fell, or something like that. The one who stood up during the ride was fine, but the man who fell climbing out of the log at the end hit his head and most likely ended up with a few stitches as a result.

We got stuck on Test Track for 20 minutes in the heat room. Luckily, the heat lamps were turned off while we were sitting there! It was the very first ride of our trip, too. But the CMs let us go again without having to get out of the car so that made up for it.

I've gotten stuck on several different rides, the two longest being Splash Mountain and Test Track. On Splash Mountain we were right by the buzzing bees and the music had been turned down but of course not the noise of the bees. We were stuck there for about 30 minutes. Then a couple months after Test Track opened we got stuck twice in the same ride. Once for about 20 minutes in the "cool" room. We were really wet from the mist after that! Then the second time had to be at least 45 minutes and it was so frustrating because we were literally less than 20 ft from the boarding/unboarding area but we couldn't get out. Needless to say the rest of our party got pretty impatient waiting for us

Try being stuck on the Great Movie ride for 45 minutes in the Tarzan room. Got that? Wow! I've been stuck a few times over the years but that one won't go away!

One time on Test Track we got stuck outside on the track for about 10 minutes. Besides that we also got stuck on Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, although they were not long waits.

I got stuck on Pirates for about 45 minutes and we had to boat hop all the way to where we had to load. We were right at the stop where it was going to drop. Once on Spalsh Mountain for about an 30 minutes becuase some guy jumped off the ride. The people mover for about 20 minutes right at the end i was about to jump out but it started to move. The great movie ride. the only time we ever got anything was for Pirates i guess becuase we had to physically jump from boat to boat to get out. I think that would be really scary to get stuck on tower of terror. What part was it????

I got stuck on Splash Mountain for about 15 minutes at the bottom of the big lift hill; beneath the vultures.
During my most recent trip, we got stuck in the library section of Haunted Mansion for about 10 minutes or so.

Got stuck one time on Buzz Lightyear in the room with your final battle with Emperor Zerg. I racked up some major points during our 20 minute wait.

I forgot that we were also stuck on The Great Movie Ride just after the Wizzard of Oz section when they completed the yellow brick road song, however they did not replay the song.

I will NOT be riding ToT this time! I have ridden it once and it scared me too death! (I hate elevators and will avoid them at all costs.) I sure don't want to be stuck on it. I shouldn't even be reading this thread since I'm already a big chicken!

We were stuck on HM for 40 minutes last summer. we've also been stuck on Splash, Pirates and TT. Thank heavens we've never been stuck on ISAW....I would need some serious therapy after that!

we got stuck on expedition everest for about 15 minutes right at the part where the track breaks off. This was in August and it was hot as all get out.

We got stuck on HM for about 25 minutes in the room with the dead bride... We had to hear her say all of her sayings.. (BTW it was after the refurb)

while i've never been stuck for more than five mins or so, our kids (they were 9 and 11yo at the time) were stuck in splash mountain for about 40 minutes... the worst part was that i was at the entrance to tom sawyer's island and they were supposed to join me to hunt for paintbrushes... dh waited for the kids where the photos are and i found our family a paintbrush!

two years later, dh/kids were stuck on Splash in the *exact same spot* for over half an hour again!
