Please share your experience selling or buying on StubHub. We just posted concert tickets & thought they'd go fast but there are alot already listed that haven't sold, although I don't know when they were put on.

I haven't sold, only bought.

My $0.02 - I'm not paying face value. I might the equivalent of face value (once you add in fees) if it is something I really want to go to but not for something that has lots of tickets available.

I also like to buy as close to the event as possible. I'm looking for a deal and the deals are better as time runs out.

I bought one time when the tickets I wanted were sold out. I was a little nervous at first, but it worked out great.

I have bought on StubHub several times and every time was a great experience! However, as RadioNate stated, I will not pay above face value for tickets through StubHub unless the event is sold out.

I have used them many times and have only had an issue once. They sold me tickets, charged my credit card and then about 5 days later told me the seller sold them to someone else! I was not at all happy as 5 days passed and that meant good seats went (I was looking for Steeler tickets). Stub hub waived all of their fees for me on the next purchase but that was only after I voiced my displeasure.

I've bought tickets using StubHub numerous times (including today!).

I would look at what prices other sellers used who have similar tickets as you. I would then price them $5-10 cheaper. It always amazes me when I look at tickets and someone has worse seats listed at a higher price - no way I would spend more.

If the tickets I'm looking at are comparable in relation to where they are located, I (as the buyer) always go with the cheapest listed.
