Hi, has anyone purchased concert tickets from stubhub? Horror stories? Happy stories? Trying to get tickets for Jason Aldean at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on August 28th. Thoughts?

Stubhub always has a good variety of seats, the service charges are quite high (you don't see the s/c until you hit the checkout page) they can be anywhere from $50 to almost $90 per ticket depending on the Artist/Show/Demand.. then you have HST and if it's a hard ticket. shipping. A $300 ticket as listed can often become a $450 ticket once you add everything in. Stubhub is an eBay company.

If you want to find seats and compare prices & s/c's from all the ticket resellers - seatgeek.com

Used it several times over the last 5 years with no problem. However I only choose tickets that have immediate printout ability.

I think they include the service charges (10% for buyers) in their ticket prices now. The price you see is the price you pay (delivery might change things...I think it is included as well).

I have used them for multiple sporting events and have never had an issue. I have sold tickets as well and never had an issue.

You may be able to find tickets cheaper (ebay, kijiji) but their guarantee is worth the extra money.

Just heard today on the news that Stubhub was going to streamline their pricing. It's long overdue, they need more transparency to eleviate the shock of the checkout page. lol.

Kijiji and eBay are not options I would ever entertain, too risky on many levels. I have used Stubhub, Vivid Seats & Ticketmaster Platinum Seats on various occasions, all without incident. When I sell tickets, I only do do on Ticketmaster via TicketExchange.

I use StubHub almost every time I travel to the US and want to see a local sporting event. I check to see what is on Ticketmaster, and then go on to SH to see what they have and to compare prices.

Took my family to a couple of baseball games in San Diego last weekend, and were able to get some excellent seats just above the dugout that were both unavailable over Ticketmaster and were less than face value.

I trust StubHub and believe them when they say that they stand behind their transactions in case anything goes wrong.
