Struggling with Planning - just curious what people would do

Assuming you have hoppers, which planning camp do you fall into?

Wishes! is totally worth it and should not be missed. If you're going to break your stake-out rule for something, have it be Wishes.

Regarding EMH:
We don't do AM magic hours ever. We get to the parks whenever we can, sometimes RD, sometimes not. On the other hand, we try to hit every PM extra magic hours, but typically start at a different park. For example, this May we'll spend most of our day at Epcot then hop to Studios for PM EMH.

We've done it both ways successfully.

What seems to work best now that my kids are teens is sleeping in for the extra hour and heading to a non-EMH park. That extra hour of sleep makes them a whole lot happier, and everyone's day gets off to a better start.

Would it be "fork over $59 x 4 for the dessert party" good? There's no way DH is staking out anything :goodvibes

I picked "Other". We love evening EMH and we usually buy hoppers (only one trip out of 9 that we didn't have hoppers).

This is how we plan:

- Decide how many days we want to spend in each park.
- Check easywdw and select any park other than the least recommended for that day and plan to spend most of the day at that park
- Hop to the park with evening EMH hours (or to any park that is open later than the park we are in) sometime around dinnertime. We don't typically have dinner ADRs so we can decide at the last minute to have CS dinner at the 2nd park, or stay at the first park and eat dinner there, then have dessert at the second park. And sometimes we decide one park is all we want to do that day and head back the resort after dinner.

IF we go against the park recommendations and end up at a park with morning EMH, we usually hop out of there by lunchtime.

I've never done the dessert party, so I can't comment on the viewing there (someone else surely can), but just on the merits of Wishes! alone, yes (especially if you would like to pay to avoid staking out a pot).
