Rent or bring our own? We have two strollers we love: an older Inglesina umbrella stroller and a big, fancy BOB. Both have their perks, but we aren't opposed to renting one as well. We also wear dd frequently, so a stroller is just a convenience to hold things, to take a break from holding her, or let her nap while we're on rides. I'm curious if my BOB stroller would be too big for Disneyland. I have this impression of it being more narrow and crowded, which may be all in my head. :)

I wouldn't bring the fancy stroller. Strollers have been stolen in the parks, so I would bring something less attractive to thieves or rent a stroller.

We always bring our BOB. It has places to put stuff and if someone accidentally bumps it or kicks it...no problem. It can feel too big when it gets really crowded, but we usually leave the park for the whole middle of the day when the crowds are biggest. Also, we will park it and leave it in a central stroller parking area while we do the rides in that vicinity. I have never actually worried that someone would steal it or the stuff in it. Often times it gets moved by CMs or people trying to make more room/organization, but we always find it.

We had a big Phil&Ted's double with our boys that we used on two WDW trips. I'm not terribly concerned about it being stolen, although I have heard about it happening. That's sort of why I mentioned renting strollers. Is that more of a thing at WDW?

Our trip to Disneyland is just part of a longer, almost two week trip, and while we have room in our van for both, we don't necessarily need both! I think we'd prefer the convenience of the BOB on the other legs of the trip, but the umbrella stroller (which still has a sun shade, small basket, and can recline,) is still an attractive option for the parks.

If you're considering renting, check out City Strollers. They will deliver and pick up from your hotel, and they are super clean and reasonably priced. If you rent a Disney stroller from the park, you can't take it beyond the esplanade.

If you would choose the BOB for the other parts of the trip, I think you will appreciate it in DL. I feel like its triangular front, "off road" wheels/shocks and maneuverability are really important in the parks...quick turns, sharp corners, curbs etc.

It will be fine to use a bob. It can be tight in many of the gift shops but aside from that we had no issues with our larger stroller.
