Anyone know how much it is to rent one? I thought I heard somewhere that you can get a weekly rate, does anyone know if this is true and how much? Thanks

then scrolll down towards the bottom....$10 a day basically...

I debated about stroller rental last time I went..I brought my won..and Im glad I did!
the cost can pay for a new stroller ( I will buy a new one next time I go) and still have change left over..and the best thing about bringing your own is....

WHEN YOU LEAVE IT OUTSIDE...YOU CAN FIND IT!...everyone who rents has the exact same stroller....what a headache that must be when you come out of a ride ( and god forbid...a CM hasen't moveed it) you have to ospend time looking for yours...

I guess you could buy a ballon or a flag of some kind to put on it...that would be a good strategy....however in slower months this is less of an issue...but in the summer when I went it can be a crucial time saver....

I would go with something like this....cheap,and light....very disposable even

$29.99 STROLLER at TOYSRUS

Thanks for the suggestions. We have always taken our stroller before but he always wants to get one of the rentals, so we told him this year (1st week of Oct) that we would rent one. I have some of those foam pads that velcro onto suitcase handles that I was planning to put on the handle of the stroller so we can find it easier.

We just got back and decided to rent instead of bringing our own. We have DD9 and DS3. We were travelling with my sister, her DH, DS5, 4, 2. We each rented one double stroller, intending for the boys to ride. My DD9 rode as much as the boys, in fact, Dsis's DS5 wanted to walk the whole time. It was the best $80 we spent at Disney. We rented for 5 days so whatever $79.99 divided by 5 is was what it cost per day. A single one is a little cheaper but we saw hundreds of people who rented a double with one child wo they could put their backpack, souveniers, etc. We encountered too many people trying to get on buses with sleeping kids in their own strollers. The bus drivers will NOT let you on the bus without taking the child out and folding up the stroller. Same for the monorails. Strollers can be as big a hassle as they are a money saver. We have done both, home and rental and I would rent every time!

yes..I forgot about "the childs desire" to ride in a cart... my son loves riding in those "car like" carts at wal mart...have you seen those....

also, everyones a little different, I liker to carry my son a lot so I like having a stroller "avaiable " at all times...in case my back is acting up!

weather you buy or rent..do the flag or ballon ( although the ballon can be anoyying hitting you in the head..as you walk around) trick

We rent one all the time now too. I used to drag my own. Its just easier to rent one. Plus I think those Disney strollers are so easy to push too. You do get a little bit of a discount when you buy for the week. You will get a card for everyday you rent for, and then all you have to do is take it to the podium where they are handing out the strollers and have them stamp it. Much easier than standing in the rental line everyday. We always get the double and its nice to have the extra space if they want to lay down, or just to pile all of you extra junk in. We never have trouble finding the stroller either!
