I have seen several about which stroller is the best and keep seeing the ones people don't like. It is easier for me to see the ones people don't like and why and then go from there.

I just bought the maclarean volo, and it is OK, but my one year old has a hard time in it. It does not sit up straight enough, for him. We should have gotten the nicer one.

I might get flamed on this board for saying this, but I am not a Maclaren fan. I don't like strollers with split handlebars and I think the baskets on Maclarens are worthless. I also think that they are very overpriced for what you get. I think the Volo is $100 and it doesn't have a sunshade or recline. You have to upgrade to the Trimuph for those features. I think that the world is divided into two halves: those who love Maclarens and those who think they are overrated. :)

We have a Combi for our primary travel stroller and a Peg for our full size stroller. I love both.

Anything by Graco - total garbage in my opinion b/c they are heavy, clunky, ugly and cheap. I am a Maclaren girl although I like my Peg Perego too.

We've been happy with our Evenflo strollers, both the lightweight one (we take to the parks) and our travel system. We have a Fisher Price double stroller that is the worst thing on wheels. When we had both kids in it, the wheels wouldn't turn, so I'd have to lift it up to make a turn. Great for building muscles, but worthless to push kids around! :)

Any stroller by Combi. I had a Combi "Perfect Match" stroller that I freecycled because I despised it so much.

I hate any stroller that is difficult to turn. I have yet to go out with a child and travel only in a perfectly straight line, so turning is a BIG feature for me. It is also nice to be able to steer with only one hand.

Anyone shopping for a stroller should seriously consider going to a store and physically putting their child in the stroller and walking up and down the aisle a few times. Once you know what you want, feel free to order it from a website.

When I was shopping for car seats I would take the floor models out (with the salesperson's permission) and strap them into my car to make sure they fit properly. I wouldn't dream of buying a stroller I saw online but hadn't actually been able to handle.

Any umbrella stroller.

I never had either of my kids in one.
They look waaayyyy too uncomfortable. I once saw a tiny newborn (maybe a month or two old) slouched over in one. It was horrible.

Even when my kids were older, no way. There's no firm support for the back & just not enough room to move around in.

I despise any Graco stroller. Clunky, heavy, and extremely difficult to turn. After much research, hands on testing and thought we purchased a Peg Perego that I like quite a bit, but I wouldn't say it's perfect. I've often thought that myself and a bunch of my mommy friends should just design our own stroller!

I hate my sit-n-stand, baby trend or something like that. The basket is impossible to get to, the thing doesn't turn well, and the handle bar covers arelways slipping down. Funny thing is, I like my Evenflo double (Take me too! model). I can get to everything, holds the carrier, it turns one handed, has a big basket, is light & fits in my tiny SUV cargo area. No complaints with my Evenflo travel system single either.

I also hate my single jogger by right step (I think). It's just hard to deal with. Doesn't turn well and I'm always afraid of stopping quickly at high speeds. My double jogger is a Schwinn and that thing is a dream.

I like my Peg Perego Aria Twin because it is light, made well, and fold up small. However, it is definitely a "mall stroller" because as soon as you hit any uneven surface it is a bear to push.

don't like any umbrella stroller - haven't found one (under $100) that was worth a red cent - haven't even looked at the high priced umbrella ones - it's not worth it to me!

LOVE my Evenflo Travel System stroller. Easy one hand push - great on smooth and rough surfaces (did great at Chichen Itza - no pathways - just natural ground) - and a big plus: LOTS of pockets (don't even need a diaper bag if I plan ahead)!

Here's what I don't get most of all - my HUGE travel system weighs 22 lbs. (I weighed it when I was considering shipping it to WDW) And I've seen so called lightweight umbrella strollers coming in at 20 lbs. :confused3 Does just 2 lbs divide lightweight and heavy?

Graco Travel Systems - they are heavy, clunky, colors fade too quickly. I am sold on Maclaren...would buy again in a heartbeat :thumbsup2:

The BabyTrend lightweight- wheel fell off (a lot!!!) It is a classic example of you get what you pay for.
I still use my big Graco at home but after 2.5 years it is getting old and noisy.
I'm going for the MacClaren Techno next because it can hold up to 55 lbs (and DS is almost 3) and the tall handles (I'm 5'9" and DH is well over 6')- BTW that was another reason not to like the BabyTrend- not meant for tall people.

I hate my maclaren triumph. I don't know if it is because they are no longer made in England or what but it is not what I would consider high quality. The hood broke on both sides with normal use. Also to fold it you have to bend toward the ground etc. My graco citilite deluxe is only 10.8 pounds, folds upwards, reclines, pushes/turns easily all over disney world with basket is small but much bigger than maclarens. My favorite stroller of all time is no longer made but is the combi savvy z. It is only 7.7lbs, pushes extremely easily with one hand, folds very small etc. The combi perfect match is a waste of money.

I hate the Graco Metrolite stroller that came with my travel system. It is bulky, the basket drags, and the seat belt broke when my son was six months old (after very light usage too). I upgraded to the Maclaren Triumph for our WDW trip when DS was 10 months old and have been very pleased. But, now I'm 34 weeks pregnant with DS#2 and am freaking out trying to find a double stroller I like!

Gosh. My Century Capri (Graco), has been to WDW 7 times over the years and has been just wonderful. I always say its the perfect stroller for WDW (Including the price tag, since I dont have to worry about it getting lost or broken).

Thanks, This is really helping me out a lot---I am thinking about the Combi Cosmo DX stroller--it is on sale at Target for 89--usually on other sites it has been as much as 129.00---
