We're heading down in Oct with our 2.5 year old and we're staying at All-Star-Sports. We want to take our own stroller, but I was wondering how difficult it would be to take it on busses/monorail, etc (while folded up).

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks! :jester:

Should not be a problem at all. I've seen strollers on buses and the monorail unfolded and with the child in them.

We stayed at ASMu and had no problem with our stroller. The buses do Get crowded at times so you may be packed in with It.
Try to get one which folds up easy and quick. Have it folded before it is your turn before getting on the bus. It will maKE it easier on you and those behind you

Depending on the size stroller, it's no problem at all. We took our smaller one that's the size between an umbrella-type and a coach. It reclines, has a basket underneath, and folds in a snap.

For safety reasons, Disney requires that all strollers be folded prior to boarding the bus or the parking tram.

On the Monorail, only double strollers need to be folded to fit into a regular section. (They will fit into the wheelchair accessible car, however, guests travelling with mobility devices get 1st priority) All single strollers can roll right onto the monorail.

Most boats also allow for the stroller to remain unfolded, however, some of the smaller crafts will require the stroller to be folded prior to boarding.

One thing we do recommend... please have your stroller already folded, and all your "gear" in hand, when you reach the front of the line. It makes boarding so much easier and quicker when you've already organized everything.

We used an umbrella stroller. Much easier to fold and carry and it worked out great. Several times we were behind people who were trying to colapse strollers and having trouble, which holds up the entire line.
