We have been to WDW numerous times and had never had a problem with leaving the stroller with "stuff" in it. Is it just as carefree in US & IOA? I've always felt comfortable leaving it since there always seemed to be an attendant at the stoller areas.

We just got bacl we were at US/IOA on both Saturday and Sunday not problem leaving stroller outside of attraction. We had a cooler and misty fans hanging off no problems but we did carry a backpack with
valuables onto the attractions.

We never had any problem leaving stuff on the stroller. Nothing expensive but certainly the mister fan, drinks, towels etc - even a few souveniers (Cheap ones) that we had just bought.
The Stroller was moved a few times when we got out of the attraction but nothing was ever missing.

Alright I'm gonna bite on this one:

For the most part, tourists in Orlando are easy targets for criminals because most have their guard down. It is VERY common for hotel rooms and rental cars to be broken into and valuables taken (i.e. - USE your hotel room safe).

At the theme parks, strollers are typically the target. Disney does NOT have attendants watching strollers at ALL their attractions. In fact, it's typically only the attractions where strollers are pulled out of line (Kilamanjaro and Tough to be a Bug come to mind) is there actually an attendant assigned to strollers. Take Fantasyland for example, you'll never find an attendant watching your stroller.

Even at those places that DO have a stroller attendant, what's to stop someone from coming up, taking your stroller, walking with it to another area of the park, and ditching your stroller (after taking what they wanted of course). Besides, the parks are "not responsible for theft."

The Universal theme parks, in general, have stroller parking facilities outside all of the attractions. Honestly, most do not have attendants watching them. In ANY theme park, you should never worry about leaving little things with your stroller (a blanket, a water bottle, squeeze breeze, etc). You know, the little stuff that isn't worth much to someone else.

At ANY theme park, ALWAYS take things like backpacks or camera bags with you - these are typically targets for dishonest people.

I don't want to alarm you at all - and you shouldn't be worried - but just remember that Orlando is just like any other city in that there are plenty of dishonest people here. Unfortunately, tourists who "drop their guard" are typically the targets.
