Strollers in Restaraunts?

Hello all,

We are planning a family trip to Walt Disney World in November. 4 adults and 2 young'ins (two boys, 3years old and 6 months old). I know we can get booster seats for my 3 year old, but what about the 6 month old? To be honest, it would probably be easier to keep him in his stroller, but I'm sure most restaraunts don't have room for that.

What options do WDW sit down restaraunts typically provide for babies? And do you have to park your stroller outside?

Any assistance is appreciated! :cool1:

As far as I know, all CS will allow you to bring stroller in and some to most TS. BE AWARE that many of WDW TS restaurants have tables that are VERY close together. Even if you can get the stroller in, you may not be comfortable with the closeness to others or the jostling that could take place.

In my experience, most TS do not allow strollers. Can you imagine if everyone with a baby brought theirs in. There would be no room for people to walk. Once, my DS fell asleep in his stroller and the Crystal Palace did allow me to bring it in. Keep in mind that Sunshine Seasons, a CS in the Land does not allow strollers in. Yes, you need to park them outside if they are not allowed in. They have highchairs; can your 6 month old sit in a high chair?

Have a great trip.

Agree with this assessment - that's why there are large stroller parking areas outside or near most of the restaurants in the parks. It's going to be less likely rather than more likely that you will be able to bring your stroller into any sit-down location.

There were quite a few strollers in 50s Prime Time Cafe the other day during lunch. It's the only time I can recall seeing strollers in a restaurant here.

You can ask, and if they think there happens to be room at the moment they may say yes. But you can't count on it.

We have been allowed in the past (2010) to bring our stroller into CP and Ohanas. Both times my son who was 2 at the time, had fallen asleep just as we were getting ready to eat.

That has been my experience as well. We usually ended up with someone holding the baby, and then swapping out when someone else finished eating.
