I am sure this has been brought up many times probably a long time ago but I didn't see it. I know everything at WDW goes up every year. But I am not sure if I read this right...31.00 a day for a double stroller? When did this happen? I was planning on renting one again for my kids when they get tired but that would run me over 250.00 after taxes. YIKES :scared1:. I guess the kids are going to have to hoof it.

Yep, that's the new rate.

You can look at the links in the sticky for a stroller swap. There's no charge for the swap but you might not be able to find an opening.

Or you can check out http://www.magicstrollers.com/ . They charge $25 for a double stroller for your first day and then $9 for each additional day. They deliver the stroller to your resort and pick it up afterwards. No worries about luggage services losing it or getting a broken stroller, which happens with stroller swaps sometimes.

This is what we paid in June.

I had recommended to DH that we bring a stroller and he stated that DD6 could walk. Day 2 at Epcot, I overhear, "If I get you a stroller to sit in will you be happy?" I smiled to myself. We rented a double because a single was a sqeeze for her. She was happy as a clam. Worth every penny. We've already told her that next trip she will have to walk.

buy a $20 umbrella stroller, either there at home, or here at a walmart...

strollers don't count as part of your checked luggage...

i remember our first trip in 1995 and it was $6 and you got a disney dolar back when you took it back at the end of the day.my kids refused to spend them and we still have them somwhere.it was $8 for a double.

we are tking a toddler next year and even a good stroller is only about $75 from walmart and loads more are cheaper still.just think what you could buy for $250...

We used Magic Stroller on our last trip and LOVED it!! So much better than the Disney strollers for 1/2 the price. I also liked being able to use it at DTD and at our hotel. Lots of nights my dd (4) fell asleep on the bus back to the resort. I would have hated to try to lug her back to the room without the stroller.

thanks everyone...I am checking out Magic Strollers right now. My kids are too big for an umbrella stroller but they sure can in handy
