We will be traveling with a 5 year old. We want to have a stroller available to her for when she gets tired, but do not want to lug her stroller with us in the car, on the bus, monorail, etc.....

I have some questions about the strollers available in the park.

1. Do they have some type of storage (for backpacks, ponchos, etc.), like a basket underneath or anything?

2. Do they have cupholders (ours does and they come in handy)?

3. Are they large enough for a 5 year old to be comfortable?

Any other comments regarding this issue would be greatly apprecaited.

Thank you in advance for your help.

We have always used our own strollers. Actually we spent last week there and used 2 strollers - umbrella for 4yo and lite stroller w/basket for 17mo.

As far as strollers rented at the parks, yes they are large enough for a 5 yr old. I believe that they have mesh bags attached at the back to hold stuff, with mesh pockets for drinks(saw a lot of bottles of water in them!).

Good luck and have fun!

you can find pictures of the strollers here:

1. They will fit a five year old
2. They have a mesh bag in back, but it will hold a park map and a coke. Not your backpack. But you can set you bag on top of the stroller. We did that a lot.
3. Cupholders, no. But a bottle of pop or water fits nicely in the mesh bag in back.
