Hi,

We are leaving for a CA vacation this Friday and will be doing a one-day Disneyland trip. We have a two-year old and I'm trying to decide if we should bring his stroller to Disneyland or just rent one. Do the strollers recline, in case he falls asleep?

Along that same vein, do there happen to be any places good for naps? I wish there were little rooms with pack-n-plays in them, but I highly doubt that's the case. I imagine our best bet is to hope he falls asleep in the stroller, right? Otherwise, I'm afraid our day might be over by early afternoon. :sad1:

Thank you!
Kristi

The strollers they rent are the big blue jogger type. The fabric is naturally in a reclined sort of position. Our kids have napped in them with no problems.

Can't comment on the strollers as we always bring our own, but I can suggest a quiet spot. We used to go over to the Grand Californian to put my daughter down for naps. The outside walkways are very quiet and peaceful. Just enter one of the side entrances from Downtown Disney.

Has anyone checked out the Baby Care center on Main Street? I haven't been in (as DH and I only have "furkids" who recline at the Kennel very happily while we're in the parks), but I thought I read that they had some quiet nursing areas. Those would probably work out well for a nap as well. You could also go into the 50th anniversary show and hang out in the "pre-show" area without going in. It's air conditioned, quiet, and gives you some eye candy. Another spot would be the Main Street Cinema. It plays black and white cartoons with some cartoony music in the background. It's dark and there's never a wait. Just hang out as long as you need to! :) Oh yeah - it's airconditioned. ;)

I've used the Baby Care Center for feedings and diaper changes, but I'm not sure what their policy is on naps. Our twins fell asleep in their stroller and as long as we draped a light blanket over their sun shades, they slept quite well. There are several places in DL and DCA that are quiet and kind of out of the way.

The strollers are quite comfortable (so my kids have said), and even my older kids (5 & 8) have had experience napping in them.

I hope this helps you.
