Thanks! I was definitely very pleased with how well he seems to like it. And yeah, those travel systems just aren't all that they're cracked up to be. BRU just makes it seem like that is what you have to have! I don't remember if you said or not on your PTR but did you wind up getting a travel system or separate carrier and stroller?

No we didn't do the travel system, we got the Baby Jogger City Select and a separate carrier but the stroller does have an attachment so we can put them together. I didn't like how bulky the travel systems feel & how much plastic is on them! Britax is a fantastic brand, we were originally looking between the City Select, Britax B-Ready, and UPPAbaby Vista (we wanted the bassinet feature plus seating for a 2nd baby since we hope to have a 2nd within 2 years of the first).

I'm going to have a nostalgia moment for my 10,000th post since I don't have any huge news to share or anything. Since this PTR is all about Alex and we're celebrating his birthday there I thought I'd share some pregnancy photos and ultrasounds and infant photos

Though, I took a trip at 18 weeks preggo to Prince Edward Island and any bit that I *thought* I was showing was 1) due to me wearing maternity shirts so early bc they were comfy and 2) pregnancy bloat. LOL. I couldn't believe it when a waitress asked when I was due, but I will definitely put that on my maternity shirt. Now I'm looking a lot more like your 39-week picture!! It's fun but I'm ready to have my body back I think.

Thanks! Yeah, I don't know what was wrong with me on that trip to not take ANY pictures of my own. My BFF was the only one to take any pictures. I was so miserable and annoyed on that trip. I don't even really remember it. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. It's like my honeymoon. The only pictures I took on t hat trip were of the room I started wearing my maternity clothes early too. And I continued to wear them for a good 3 or 4 months after having Alex because they were so comfy and they were easy on my incision. But yeah I hear ya, I was totally ready to have my body back at the end too. I was so miserable the whole pregnancy lord only knows why I want to put myself through that again
