Stroller that reclines?

DD is going to be 2. We have a Graco stroller and an umbrella stroller the problem is the Graco is so heavy and it does not recline well (you cant get to basket when child is reclined and it only goes a small ways back. I dont want to bring the umbrella because it looks so uncomfortable and it DOES NOT recline. Anyone have a nice lightweight stroller that reclines? We have a wheelchair for DS so we also need on that folds up nice. I know thi sis asking qutite a lot from a stroller but there must be one somewhere. Thanks in advance.

The Peg Perego Plikomatic works well. We've taken it WDW 3 times (mostly because it had the reciling feature). Sometimes it's harder to "drive" then an umbrella stroller, but it folds up nicely - not too big - and not too flat.

We have a Chicco umbrella stroller that has a 5 setting recline, and also an extending leg rest (so DD's feet don't dangle uncomfortably when she's asleep). We LOVE it , and more importantly so does DD. We never have to go back to our room for her to nap, she usually just fell asleep right in the stroller and slept comfortably for at least 45min to an hour. The stroller is lightweight and folds up easily. I just can't say enough good things about it. It was a bit more costly than other lightweight strollers, but so worth every penny. In fact our friends bought one for their DD as well and they love it too.

We love our Maclaren Triumph. It stears easy, reclines, has a basket and is very lightweight. The best part is the compact, easy fold-up with a shoulder carrying strap. We absolutely love it! Even DH admitted buying it was the best thing I did, which was very hard for him to do. This stroller also carries larger children compared to other strollers I owned.

I totally agree! I bought a Chicco (Tuscany, I think) after I was sick of the cheap unbrella stroller I had. We have a Graco stroller too, and it is so heavy that I tend to use the Chicco all the time. It is so easy to manuever in crowds and in store aisles, and my DD loves it. Plus, I think it looks cool!

These both look GREAT, I did a fast saerch on line. Do either of them recline all the way back? I will eventually go out to BabysRUs but right now I am stuck at home...stomach bug going through the house.....YUCK. I really would like a stroller that can fully recline. Thanks

The Chicco Tuscany does recline all the way back. Not exactly all the way flat, but there are 5 settings and the last setting lets your child lie down comfortably. Sometimes DD will even curl up on her side, so it's roomy enough. Like FSUGrad97 said, it is so easy to maneuver even in crowds. What really sold me was that extendable leg rest though

We bought a CHicco just for this trip. I love our Aria but the canopy isn't that great. I thought the Pliko was very nice but also very bulky. Even when folded. I think the Chicco would we a nice middle stroller for the 2 other ones you have.

I love my Peg Perego Pliko P3. It reclines almost flat. My son falls asleep in it everytime we go out. I'm a little worried that he'll sleep through Disney when we go. It folds up very compactly.

It has a large basket but compared to other strollers I think the basket acess is a little small. If you can squish it through though there is plenty of room in the basket.

I think that's how it's spelled, anyway. DW and I bought this when we visited WDW on DS's first birthday. We also wanted something lighter than our regular that reclines. 2 years later we are still using it and have never unfolded the original!

Check out the Maclaren Quest. It has a roomier seat than the Triumph, and you can get a great deal on a 2004 model these days at www.albeebaby.com.

Thanks again everyone. I have to laugh when I even think that I am again in this situation. We have a 16 and a 14 year old and tada....a 2 year old. Kennedy is my misdiagnosed Kidney stone!!!! SURPRISE! It was a great one but a huge surprise none the less. I really thought I was done years ago looking for strollers etc. The choices then were so few and far between then. I have a Graco stroller and it was so much better than the stroller we had for DD 14 years ago but it is heavy and bulky compared to others. As I said we also have DS's wheelchair that is heavy and takes up lots of trunk room. I love all your suggestions and have been chceking them out online. I think we are all better and I will go out tomorrow to see the "Real deal" Thank you so much for the suggestions. I am thrilled with all the pros and cons they will be so helpful!

One thing that I forgot to mention about the Chicco Tuscany is that I have even had to steer it one-handed, and it worked great! My DD is 18 months and we have used it since she was about 7-8 months, and she loves it! Plus, with the leg rest, she can lay flat and naps like a champ in it.

I just bought this stroller - "Graco Disney(c) Umbrella Stroller " at Sears.com - It's GREAT. I love it - and it's so cool with the Disney Princesses on it.

The price is right - under $40 (I couldn't pay more than that for a small stroller - I think that's rediculous) Here are the specs on it:

Front swivel wheels
Ergonomic handles with cup holder adjust for parents of different heights
2 - position recline

Combination 3 or 5 point harness

ALSO, the big plus is my DD (2 1/2) will actually ride in it! We had to fight her so much to get her in her stroller, this one is "fun to ride" because it's Disney

We just got back from a trip where we used our new Peg Perego Pliko P3, it was great for us! DS napped just about on his regular schedule and slept like a champ in it. The canopy is really good and privides a lot of sun coverage - we did add an extra shade when he was fully reclined for napping but when upright the shade can go all the way over the child (which is also a fun game if you are a toddler ) We also have a Mac Triumph that we used on DS's first trip, but it just didn't seem comfortable for him napping in like the P3 is, we also like the snack tray and the fact that the upright is more vertical on the Peg. We plan on taking our Triumph when DS is a bit older for easy hop-in and hop-out on his own. And we do love the size and maneuverability of the Mac, but for now the Peg is perfect for us. Just for a data point - we tried a Safety 1st Alumilite during a trip between the two above mentioned ones and while there were aspects of it that we liked (lightweight, easy fold, snack tray) two huge drawbacks for us were the reclined position of the full upright and we wore over half the treads off the wheels in a week! It was only $40 (and we sold it for $20 so the price was right!), so it suited us for the week and would be great as a one-trip stroller, but we travel a lot (to WDW and elsewhere) and we needed a good stroller for multiple trips.

The Caddy by Chicco was made for Disney trips! It reclines. It has a visor and a rain cover. And!!!! It has a sholder strap which makes it super for climbing on busses and boats.

we have a stroller by safety first from target.it was around $35. it has one recline postion, big basket, and cup holders, and snack tray. perfect for disney trip!
