Stroller swaps good?

Have any of you participated in a stroller swap? If so, how did the getting and giving of the stroller go and what kind of condition was the stroller in? I'm just wondering about the constant use if they are still easy to use. Thanks for any help.

Yes, stroller swaps are a great idea and they work. I participated in one and it was great to not have to take a stroller down with me. Look around and find one that fits your dates and needs, then sign up.

Just remember. Stay in contact with the persons before and after you and let them know immediately of any changes in your plans.
When you leave, if you can't hand off the stroller to the next person, take the time to take it to their resort and leave it with baggage services and get a claim number. The stroller on my swap was lost when a participant ask baggage services to do a resort transfer and didn't get a claim number.

I've been in 2 swaps.

The first swap was wonderful. We were pretty far down on the list and the stroller was still in good shape. It was kind of dirty, but very functional!

We were in a swap in June and was the 4th person I think. The stroller was in such bad shape that we couldn't use it. My kids ended up having to walk for the trip because I didn't budget for a rental. Beware of these swaps, some are great but you can come across a bad one. If so, it really impacts your trip.
